Game console is very entertaining and fun. You have plenty of game options for all ages. The game console came with 2 games, Wii Sports, amd Wii Sports Resort plus the Wii Remote. GREAT! I highly recommend it.

in all in all the wii is the best game concil ive played and i have and ps3 and my brother has an xbox 360 with kenect dosnt even compare.

I bought the Wii for the sole purpose of working out. I also purchased the Wii Fit and I love both products. Although I found with the Wii Fit, you do need to purchase additional CDs to advance once you get it down, I still love the Yoga and the games, I am almost 50 years old and have some medical issues, and this is purfect for me to use at home when I have the time. My husband loves the Brunswick Bowling, he plays that almost every night.... he plays the Wii more than I do and he laughed when I told him I was going to buy it !!!! Your never to old to play games, we both love it and use it almost daily......

I have been wanting a Wii for a long time and finally purchased after Christmas. I love it! Oh wait, that's right, it was for my kids :-) The concept of the motion controller is awesome. However, if you get motion sick easily, some of the games can give you that feeling! It's not every game, and I've learned which ones I have issues with. I never thought about that before I bought the system. That's the only down side I've experienced so far - but you can always try it out in the store if you're concerned. The Wii Sports and Wii Sports resort games (baseball, bowling, basketball, ping pong, frisbee, wave runners, canoeing, etc) are great for my 2 and 4 year olds. You really don't need any other games for a while. The Wii only comes with one controller, so you will likely get another right away. Some games make you have 2 remotes (you can't share back and forth with one). All in all a great investment and good way to spend some family time!

We bought this for the family and found this a lot of fun. Your not jusrt sitting there with a controller in your hand puching buttons. You need to swing a bat or throw a ball etc. A lot of fun for the family. The 2 games that come with the bundle will keep you entertained for a while. Easy to set up and sync of the contollers. Only cables are for the console connecting directly to the tv. Contollers are wireless so no worries about tripping over cords. Being a netflix subcribers you can also stream netflix content on your tv through the Wii. (You need HSIA of course).

The Nintendo Wii is a great gaming console for people of all ages. I actually bought this one for my parents...never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that I would be buying my 50+ year old parents a video game console. The games are easy to learn, and fun to play. There are nights where my wife and I, my parents, and even my 7 year old daughter get together to play. It is great fun! I have had my Wii for 3 years with absolutely no problems. Also, the virtual console is great, with a wireless connection a person can download games from their youth (punch-out, Super Mario Bros., Excite Bike, etc.), as well as new games. the graphics are not as good as that of the PS3 and 360, but they don't need to be for the types of games that make the Wii unique and great.

This is a great system for kids and any one else who are interested in being visually and physically challenged with the aspect of the sensor bar sensing your movements. The console does feel light and cheap but you can at least play old Gamecube games along with hooking up Gamecube memory cards and controllers. You can also use SD memory cards to use as Wii memory to transfer to the Wii HDD. The frustrating thing would be the graphics aren't HD, the sensor bar may not pick up your movements accurately or readily as you like, and buying all the accessories for this thing can be pricey since there's quite a lot of those.

Best Buy had a great Wii bundle. I had been pricing Wii systems for a few months and when this bundle came out $20.00 cheaper than anyone else, I HAD to buy it. These games and the other ones I have purchased since will really get you off the couch and moving. They are fun for all ages. I recommend it.
