this actually hurts at closer ranges! the ink is more like a gel and its cleanable but i guess its more practical. i wasnt dissapointed but i didnt come in with many expectations. only buy if youre a big splatoon fan. it cannot be used as a water gun.

Easy to use, nice quality guns. Great to play outside, the slime has great range. Only downside is you can't use water. Refills will get expensive but if you put some science into it you can create the slime yourself. Boys like to wear white shirts to see all the slime on each other. I immediately wash after they've finished playing.

Got this for my son, and he loves it. It is extremely well built and looks like actual splat gun in the game. When you put in the "splat paint" it shoots just like you would think and actually kind of hurts when it slaps your skin...haha. Only draw back which held me back from putting 5 stars is paint refills. It only takes the slime paint that comes with gun and you have to buy more to keep using it. Overall, it is a very cool collectable.
