bought it because I wanted small phone and it is hard to find an unlocked phone compatible with the carrier I wanted to use. Overall look is not bad but many defaults and too expensive for the caracteristics and competitors have better at the same prime or even cheaper. Cons: only 1 GB ram, it can slow down apps, 2 is the minimum some configs are difficult to set like sound, dialpad sound too loud, vibration too weak, UI not really friendly, camera doesn't sounds just when pressing the button to take a picture, a knife is need to open the back cover to insert the battery and sim! Pros: unlocked and compatible with my carrier

Most mobile phones in this price range never get updated past the Android version they shipped with, but HMD and Nokia have become, in my opinion, the best and most important Android mobile phone maker when it comes to this very topic. They have shown that updates should be for everyone, not just owners of premium handsets. Even the original Nokia 1 (2018) running Android 8.1 Go Edition was updated to Android 10 Go Edition. Other companies abandon their budget phones the moment they are released or only commit to releasing security patches for a short length of time, forcing users to purchase yet another handset if they want to run the lastest version of Android. Is this phone perfect? No. It could probably benefit from having an extra gigabyte of RAM, for example. However, the promise of future OS updates is more than enough for me to overlook any shortcomings I may encounter. It has been my daily driver for the last few days and will continue to be for years to come. Thank you, HMD and Nokia.

I needed a phone to hold me over while I tried to get my main phone fixed. I thought it would at least be able to run the handful of basic apps like Facebook, Instagram, email, etc. but really couldn't handle much at all and apps would keep crashing. Extremely slow and laggy (typing would lag), camera wouldn't open or take photos, would take maybe 5-7 seconds to get to home screen from locked. If you can get a flip phone/regular phone as a backup, save money and go that route. If you can't afford a decent smart phone, wait a month or so and save to get one because this is a waste of time. Returned it only after a few days.
