Great phone
||Posted .Great "biffie" phone. I was originally going for the Android Samsung galaxy SIII but a friend sold me into this one. Its a great phone and amazing value for the money (bought 2 for half the Iphone 5). Syncs up with my win8 laptop as well as with my apple system using an app for mac. Easy to load music, blazing fast, hefty but with a very solid (almost indestructible) feel. I have big hands and it was too big at the beginning coming from a (tiny) Iphone 3gs. The camera take great pictures, almost perfect in day light. It is not the best at night but hey, It's a phone, right? I wish the software that manages the camera deal better with saturation. while the camera has a lot of settings like shutter speed, temp filters, etc, it is a bit over saturated. Nothing that any app like PS express will not fix, so not a biggie. I also hope the make better the music/video player, it does not have a slider to FF or REW a song or video which makes it weird, nothing that a firmware update ( I hope) could not fix. All around a great phone, I really wish ATT will bring to the US the Lumia 808 with its magnificent 41MP camera, until then this will do perfectly. Nokia lens, the gps, all good apps. Great phone all around.

Amazing phone for amazing price!
Posted .This amazing phone hands down beats whatever phones are out in the market today. With its great screen at 4.7 inches and at 1280 x 768 it beats the iPhone 5, Galaxy sIII and any other contenders out there. With the new Qi standard it ensures that you do not have to just buy the Lumia wireless charging mats and can go at a more affordable option, and by doing so is allowing wireless charging to be a better method of charging overall by all of our products. Amazing 8.7 with equally amazing stability feature that really does make a difference when taking photos, including in low light. So many amazing features downloading of entire cities to use nokia maps (for free) turn by turn navigation without using any data, the use of nokia city lens to look around and get directions and easy access to the places around your city, high contrast settings so you no longer have to squint to see whats on your phone on direct sunlight or in the snow, as well as super sensitive touch that you can use a glove a fork your keys anything, truly makes this device worth wating for. Its time to switch.

Lumia really shows off what Windows is meant to be
||Posted .The Lumia is a beautiful phone that really makes Windows 8 look nice. I have W8 on both my laptop and my phone, and while it is certainly functional on both, (especially after the Windows 8.1 update that allows you to skip the start screen) it is much more suitable and useful on a phone than on a computer. The phone is pretty easy to figure out, not as simple as a non-data phone, but still manageable. Calls and music sound good on it, and it's customizability allows for you to personalize it's looks in almost anyway you wish. My only complaints about the phone so far are as follows: 1) because Windows phones are relatively new, accessories for them are not as widely sold as they are for say, the iPhone or the Galaxy 2) for this same reason, there are not as many apps for this phone as for apple and android devices 3) if you are updating from an older phone, you may have to update your contacts manually, as the sim cards will likely not be interchangeable. The phone can sync with Facebook or other contact lists such as hotmail and gmail, but if your contacts don't already show their phone numbers in those places, you will have to add them yourself. It is also important to note that if you prefer phones with keyboards to touch screens, this phone will do nothing to change that perception. It does have a pretty high quality text predictor though, which will ease the transition. All in all, it's a great phone that will probably improve as more options for it are made available. Recommended.

Best Windows Phone out
||Posted .One of the best phones that I have owned. If you are looking for something new or wanting to continue with the platform, this is probably the best bang for the buck. The camera alone is one of the best out in the market, and the image stabilization on a phone is really useful when you don't have your dedicated video camera handy but still want to take quality video. Low light capabilities really blow all of the other phones out of water. The phone reviews always harp on the heft of the phone but honestly, if you encase your phone in any sort of otter box or decent case, its about the same weight, and honestly, this phone doesn't need a case because of the really solid build. Skydrive is super easy to use for moving music / video and documents and its all baked into the OS. Facebook and twitter don't need separate apps as you can setup hubs and groups and actually just see posts and or updates from specific people just by going to one place without having to launch separate apps. The ability to cycle different lock screens along with any sort of update information is really neat. If you want weather updates, you don't even need to unlock your phone. If you need FB updates, you can have those pushed there as well. The Kidzone portion of the OS is a stroke of genius if you have kids that like playing games on your phone. You can hand over your phone to them so they can play the games, without them having access to your emails / documents or pretty much anything you don't want to give them access to and they can have something to do while waiting in line or whatever. Finally the phone itself is a great phone as far as call quality and being able to text people if you are in the middle of a meeting with preset responses, is really convenient and you can continue with minimal interruptions. Nokia has a great reputation for quality phones and this is sticks along with their tradition.

The best mobile phone in the market now
Posted .I have an Iphone 4 and Samsug Galaxay Note. The problem with these phones are not personalities. They all looks exact same with UI. Iphone screen is way too small for me to read web sites. Samsug Galaxay Note does have a much bigger screen. But it got hang from time to time and have to restart each time to fix the hang. I can not take any pictures in the low light. It simply give me a black screen in the low light and it does not have any stablizer. Went to San Fransico a few month ago, the naviagtion is not good. If got disconnect from ATT, I got no map. Lumia 920 has a build-in navigation system and can guide me off line. Here are Lumia 920 can give me while Iphone 5 and Samsug Galaxacy can NOT Give to me: 1. The best camera and HD video with stablizer. 2. The best low light camera in all mobile phones. 3. City Lens which can help to find restaurants, shops, hotels in a strange city. 4. Nokia drive can be used in offline mode without need to connect to ATT. 5. Free Microsoft Office suite with Outlook, spreadsheet, etc 6. sensitive screen can be touched with glove on. especially useful for cold winter. 7. kids corner which allow your kids to play on your phone without remove anythings from your phone. 8. Very beautiful screen with live tiles and I can personalize my screens. 9. Web accesses are compressed up to 45% and can save data plan a big time. 10. Extremely durable and unbreakable. I accidentally dropped my Iphone and its front screen cracked completely. But, I see on a youtube, someone used a big nail and hammer and used the hammer to hit the nail on the Lumia screen and he hit it 10 times and no damage on the Lumia screen. is this amazing. My Samsug phone has a very thin back cover. I have to buy a protective cover for it as soon as I bought it. Nokia Lumia come with a beautiful cover and it is unbreakable.

Best phone that has hit the market in last 18m
Posted .In the last 12 months, I have went through many phones hoping to find that perfect all in one. While other devices may let you listen to music, make calls, take pictures & videos not a single one does it better then this phone. My last 2 phones were S3 followed by Iphone 5 used each for over 90 days so I was very familiar with them. Now with that out of the way... SOUND QUALITY : Neither the S3 or I5 come even close to the sound quality this phone can produce, I usually end up using a dedicated music player, with a line out dock & amplifier. Reason I do that is because I use very high end headphones which need to be amped, I have discovered that the amp build into the phone can absolutely do that without distorting sound quality even a little bit. To give an example, the sound equals to Sony Z walkman / ipod touch + amplifier with line out, which by itself is a very bulky thing to carry around not to mention costs about 550$ or so. On top of that, I know people who have massive music libraries, I mean 1TB +, there is a feature on the phone that with the help of an app can let you remotely connect to your computer where you have this music stored & stream like pandora only ... and here is the beauty of it ... do you commute & worry about not having signal to keep your music flowing ? NP, the phone can buffer an amount you want it to, meaning it will keep it in its cache and keep playing even if you are without signal! In short, best sound quality from a phone I have EVER heard and I consider myself an audiophile. SCREEN : I can stand in direct sunlight and still make out everything that is on my screen, its perfect. Colors are not washed out, very vibrant & bright. Especially now during the upcoming cold winter days I love that I can wear GLOVES while using my phone without having to take them off, that is the best thing ever I think haha. CALL QUALITY : I never have to worry about not hearing someone, or them not hearing me, phone is perfect in that sense, I remember a lot of the times I would have to boost the sound on my S3 during a call just to hear someone the same way I hear them on my Nokia 920. CAMERA : I have seen some people complain about the camera quality, I have no idea why ... comparing the pictures to the I5 or S3 the camera is miles ahead, especially videos ... oh man. They come out STUNNING, so much better then anything else. Having this phone with you means never having to worry about bringing a camera, the picture & video quality is fantastic. BUILD & DESIGN : I was always worried a little when I held the I5 or S3 that they might slip out of my hand and fall ... this phone is perfect in that sense, the bottom of it is curved and perfectly fits into your palm, the weight of it reminds you that it is there .... WIRELESS CHARGING : I have noticed that the battery life will last A LOT longer if you charge it wirelessly vs USB, not sure why exactly maybe because it was designed to mainly be charged without wires. BATTERY LIFE : Okay here is my ONLY issue, the first one I got had a problem the battery would die within a few hours, NP exchanged it for a different one & now I can get 15-18 hours of HEAVY use with push notifications and live tiles all turned on to constantly refresh. OS & APPS : While android & apple markets may have more apps, I have not had a situation where I needed an app & couldn't find one on the W8 market ... new ones are literally made every day and as always there are free & paid versions of almost every app. In conclusion, the whole phone is pretty much scratch proof, it works fantastic, I would not trade it for anything else. I did check out the HTC version but was not a fan of it. Nokia just gives you SO much more when it comes to apps & support.

Best phone ever!!!!
Posted .I bought the Lumia 920 and I love it and I highly recommend everyone to give it a try, especially if you plan on purchasing Windows 8. AT&T offers a 14 day exchange, but I have a good feeling you wouldn’t want to give it back after you play with it for a few days. It is the most intuitive phone with rich features out there. Here’s the findings on my new phone: • First things first! The Lumia 920 comes with multiple language options!!! I got my dad one which is great because he can use Traditional Chinese on his phone. I think there are other languages such as Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Korean. Since this is very intuitive phone to use, the additional language is perfect for my parents. • The phone is beautifully designed and grips very well in my hand. The curved gorilla glass is durable and more ergonomic for finger gestures. • The screen resolution is amazing and it’s higher than the retina display. The AMOLED screen along with Clear Black technology along with True Black gives you sharp contrast and richer color. This screen definitely works better in bright daylight as it said it would. • The ultra-sensitive screen also works when I wear gloves on a cold day. No need to take the gloves off, which is nice during cold weather. • The camera quality can’t be beat on this phone. Night time captures without flash is bright and clear and there’s not a phone out there that can do this. The floating lens and image stabilization works wonders when moving. Moving objects are captured without any ghost effect. • There are additional camera features built in for users to easily edit photos and change lens style, etc. • NFC on great for sharing photos, videos or files with friends. In addition, with my Nokia JBL PowerUp speaker, it automatically pairs and charges the phone simply place it on top of the speaker while playing music. • My partner has iTunes, but with the companion software, it imports all of his playlists, music, photos, and other contents effortlessly. • I really like the Nokia Drive+ navigation software. It’s free and works perfectly. I like the option where I can download the maps locally so it doesn’t have to rely on internet connectivity. The software also comes with downloadable voice guiding options in many languages! In addition, you can select voice of male or female, depending on your preference. • Everything I have is accessible via the SkyDrive, including documents where I can edit directly on my phone using the built in Office apps. I keep my shopping list so it's always updated either from my phone, tablet, or home computer. Photos are automatically uploaded to SkyDrive so there's no need to connect the camera to my PC. • If you get this phone, definitely check out the accessories!!! I got the black Nokia JBL PowerUp speakers. Amazing surround sound and the phone is Dolby certified. The PowerUp actually charges my phone as I use it.

Best Smartphone in the market
||Posted .Phone is just the best around. Great pic and video quality, very solid case and screen won't scratch. To me the size is just right. And the WP8 OS is the other 50% of the equation. Lots of features fm both Microsoft and Nokia, including (pay attention parents out there) "Kid's Corner", which is a WP8 feature in which you can select just apps and/or videos and/or games and children won't have access to the rest of the phone. I personally have many cartoons for my kids and all I need to do is just swipe my finger from the right to the left on the Lock Screen to get into Kid's Corner zone. Then unlock the phone and give the device to the children so they can pick the cartoon they want without any problem to the rest of the phone. Really like the device as a whole. Highly recommended. The ONLY problem is that in my area the AT&T towers don't work very well, so I have a lot of incoming calls that don't reach the device (meaning people call, hear the ring but on my phone there isn't even a sign of "Missed Call"). Also calls drop several times. I already know this is an AT&T issue because I called them, exchanged the phone etc and they told me that technical people are aware of the problem and are doing everything they can to solve it as soon as possible. If it's true or not, it's another problem. I guess if you're in a place where AT&T cell service is better then you'll be able to not experience most of the problems that I do and, consequently, won't blame neither Nokia nor Microsoft.
