Nomad - Apple MFi Certified 4.9' Lightning USB Charging Cable - Black

I've had this cable for more than a month or two now and it's done very well considering its a charging cable. There isn't much you can do with it more than its intended use obviously, but the materials its made from make this product feel like its worth the money. You don't feel like if you bend it too much it'll start to wear or become "difficult" to use near the usb-c end, you know what i'm talking about. The length of the cable is at a comfortable length, not too long to where you have excess cable weighing the cord down or causing a tripping hazard. Its also not too short to where you have to feel like you're reaching for your phone or have to keep it on the floor because your cord isn't long enough to keep it on a table. I hadn't heard of Nomad until I went shopping at my local Best Buy for a new charging cable because the apple one was becoming cumbersome for me to use while in bed. I'm glad I made this purchase.

I purchased this cable to utilize with my Apple CarPlay radio that was installed at BB. Yes, you can probably find one for a lower price on Amazon or another store, but it was decently priced for something I needed to purchase immediately for the installation to proceed. Overall, I am very happy with the durability of this charging cable. It is utilized several times a day (plugged in/out), and while only a portion of it is exposed potential damage (most of it is hidden inside trim panels), it has held up exceptionally well in my Wrangler. Not a mall-crawler, but it has sat in direct sunlight and open air multiple times on top of a black interior. So it's dealt with fluctuations of temperature and baking heat and survived. Highly recommended.

I have always passed on buying an after market charging cable. I wasn't sold on the cost and the possibility it was better than the original product. Well I was wrong, this is a great cable and I have noticed an improved charge time. If you are looking because your old cable went out then I would highly recommend you purchase this one. You won't be disappointed. Also, keep in mind the length of your cable. This one is sufficient for my purposes but if you find yourself leaving your phone on the floor or far away from you to charge, then purchase a longer cable.

After wasting money on extra Lightning cords for home and car to watch them slowly come undone or break, I decided to find a cord that would last and last. And I did! I looked online, in phone stores and via Apple, then I decided to see what Best But could do since it's near my house. I was looking for 2 items and found them both. This was the important item for me. I work in Aerospace and I like products built to last. This one hits the mark. It's tough and thick. It may not please everyone because it isn't thin and fragile. It will last longer than your phone and is probably good enough to use as an emergency leash for your pit bull. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

Very long charging cable with a strong outer layer to protect from damage. Longer than a standard apple charging cable. The cord wrap is great for both holding it in place when putting it away or taking it with you, as well as for helping keep it in place when it sits on the table for as-needed phone charging.

This charging cable caught my eye because of its aesthetics, however the nylon braid makes a very durable cable. For example the outlet next to my bed makes it such that the cable has to go at an uncomfortable angle. In most cases this would cause any factory charging cable to tear the casing and then the wiring inside. I've had it for quite a while now and haven't had any issues with tearing. Also the length of the cable is quite substantial which I'm happy with.

I go through chargers like crazy with my girlfriend using them (I know there’s more men out there like me!), especially in my car. The cable is very heavily built so it withstands being shut in the the car door or being wound up in the seat. It’s the perfect length to reach everyone who needs it. Definitely one of the best cables I’ve bought. Plus the 5 year warranty (most have just 1 year if any at all)

Cable works as expected. It is a bit on the expensive side, but it seems way more durable. I've brought so many lightning cables, because they work until the cable breaks. Problem with them is that the cable sheathing wears quickly. Overall this cable is a great alternative and it's pretty solid. The price is a con, but it's definitely worth it considering the amount of Apple cables you'll be purchasing without it.
