Nomad - Case for Samsung Galaxy S8 - Brown

This case has it all: All around protection for falls and scratches, quality construction, stylish looks, and extra space for credit cards and such.

Desired something more durable and better looking than plastic. I also wanted a folio style that would cover the screen and allow me to carry ID and a couple bucks so I wouldn't need a wallet when I work out. Likes: leather, great looking. Distressed with age. Leather is stitched and appears very well constructed. I can carry a couple cards and gym membership card as well as a couple dollars. Dislikes: only keeping it from 5 stars is that there's no closure mechanism. Opens too easily. A leather loop that allows me to secure it when desired would make this perfect. No plastic or Velcro which would ruin the upscale appearance.

Love this new case. Three pockets for Id's and cards. Plus a bigger pocket behind them just like a wallet. A week old and I can still smell the genuine leather.

Good case for my wife's S8. Just what she was looking for: fits comfortably in her bag and can hold a business card.

I've been happy with all of my purchases with the Nomad name brand. This has been no different. This provides stylish protection for my Samsung S8. I'm not a super big fan of how the leather is supposed to look over time but it does what it's supposed to and is a very good looking case. Only down side I see is if you use your phones camera a lot the flap is kind of always in the way. But that can be said for any device that flips open to cover the back of the device.

This cover has saved my phone many a times from dropping. Nice soft leather, allows you to still take pictures while in this cover. I only wish that there was a snap to further keep this case from opening when dropped. Also plenty of storage for your credit cards and ID's

I would admit premium quality of leather and assembly. Interior is solid gray and phone holder made of high quality rubber, not plastic. It's easy take phone on/off. I liked this case much but at the same it lacks two important to me feature - magnetic stripe and folded holder. Magnetic stripe is most important - with 3 credit cards and 1 note case doen't close itself and looks like flip-flop. This is bad by 2 reasons - wearing it in a pocket filled with credit cards makes case covers move and scratch a screen. Card edges touch screen in any position. Also it can easy open once falls down and break the phone screen. Minor inconvenience is that card pockets are very tough. So generally it's a great case but would be the best if having magnetic stripe.

This case is an excellent alternative to more utilitarian cases like the OtterBox. It's less protective, but it looks great, stores a few cards easily and has room for some cash. Even works with a Samsung wireless charger. Strongly recommend this case.
