Party hit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used them at my son’s birthday party and this was an instant hit. I think it works better with cotton candy floss sugar than hard candy. I bought floss sugar from Amazon which came in different flavors.

Over the top Great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We got this on sale for $19.99 and made several batches with our 4 yr old granddaughter. Our 1st batch we used jolly ranchers. We crushed two hard candies in a zip lock bag. The machine worked great. The bad thing was the cotton candy turned into harder cotton candy. It was good but not as soft as cotton candy from the fair. I also bought a box of floss sugar on Amazon and that turned out to be the trick. The floss sugar made soft and delicious cotton candy. Great fun and good eats!

Very Fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an amazing little machine for making at home cotton candy. I've tried many and this is the best. It's not super noisy and simple to use. A bit overpriced in my personal opion but it works and it's GREAT. One note I'd stress to anyone who buys this product though is to READ THE DIRECTIONS fully. It's so easy to destroy if you don't. There are certain hard candies you can not use in the machine and you have to keep it clean. I've tried regular sugar and jolly ranchers and it was fantastic!

Good novelty item
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife loves cotton candy, so I bought this item. Very easy to use, but doesn't make a lot in a short time. You can only use two pieces of hard candy at a time. My wife uses Jolly Ranchers of all flavors. Good product that's not to pricey and if you have time to spare, but could be better with greater capacity.

Q: QuestionCan you use sugar or just hard candy? What supplies do you need to make cotton candy with this machine?
Asked by ss.
- A:Answer You can use both. You can not use soft candy though. Jolly Ranchers have been the best so far. Enjoy!

Q: QuestionWhat is "flossing sugar"? (See response below to Renee from 'NPG Product Expert'). Can I use granulated sugar instead? If not, where can I buy flossing sugar? If granulated works, can I add liquid flavorings (maybe mint, strawberry)?
Asked by SweetTooth.
- A:Answer yes you can add standard white sugar. NO you can't add liquid flavoring, this will ruin the machine for sure.

Q: QuestionIf you use sugar, how can you add color or flavor? Is it possible to use a packet of Kool-Aid in the sugar?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I goggled this product on u-tube and there's many videos. One stated powdered candy like war heads, pixie stix.... so I'd guess koolaid, too. Then another points to a online purchase of cotton candy sugars and sticks to purchase. My search is for a healthy sugar like organic and flavorings, and healthy sugar alternatives like monk fruit, stevia etc. I'll post as I learn. But utube goggle search will be a great resource for your questions.

Q: QuestionI saw in the reviews that someone said it was messy when using two pieces of candy.....what makes it so messy?
Asked by Slmc.
- A:Answer I don't feel like it is messy by using two pieces of candy. When you add your candy or sugar crystals to the spinning unit just be careful to not over fill it but with continuous gathering the spun sugar onto the cone things work out great.
