I got rid of my land line by using this unit and my home phone works perfectly. The wifi router works as well as cable when using the 4G network until the 10 GB data limit is reached. After that the internet is much slower and the router doesn't stream movies. I am very happy with the unit because I don't stream movies, I use less than 10 GB of internet data per month and I am charged only 1 line fee. I have to have internet and a landline connection available 24/7 for my job so I use this as a back-up internet connection in-case my AT&T service goes out and as my primary phone since it's super cheap for reliable service. The voice quality is great and seems better than most voip solutions and it's cellular so it's will almost never be down. The internet in my area can run around 50mbps in terms of speed so it's fast and could replace your home internet if your not a heavy user. I have Verizon unlimited but this gets hit with a 10GB cap then 3G speeds but it's fine considering it's a back-up connection. Would highly recommend if you still need a landline and have Verizon because for $20 extra a month you get the landline and then a back-up internet connection. Great Value. Too bad I think these have been discontinued.
