If you are a fan of the Thermals first album "More Parts Per Million" you should enjoy "Now We Can See." Unlike their previous two studio albums ("F'n A" & "The Body, The Blood, The Machine") the songs are shorter, catchier, and of a more urgent, "punkier" nature like their first album. Only one of the songs drags past 5 minutes and it happens to be one of the best on the album...almost a Thermals dirge. Lyrics are focused on Death and The Sea more than God and Politics so there is more abstract imagery in the lyrics. Hutch has more character to his singing and Kathy adds some harmony singing for style points. Overall this is a very fun album good for singing along to in the car while drving fast with the windows down and the stereo cranked.
