IQBUDS BOOSTS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried these out for a few weeks due to Best Buy extended return policy during the holidays. They did improve my hearing in certain situations but I found it difficult to wear them all day long. I felt I had to keep adjusting them to keep them in my ears which caused an irritation in my ears. Another thing I didn’t like was wearing them while eating. I could not hear anything being said to me because I could hear myself eat due to having both my ears plugged with the Iqbuds and one of them chirped a lot. I really wanted these to work but I returned them. I found myself more annoyed with them than enjoying them.

The IQbuds Boost and the IQbuds 2 Max are garbage
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had their fist IQbuds and those worked perfect i never had an issue with the sound the only reason i return them was because they started to fall apart, i got the IQbuds Boost thinking maybe the new ones would have a better built WRONG they fell apart with in a week i also had to return them, then i pre order the IQbuds 2 Max and after all that waiting i got them and WOW what a pile of worthless garbage is like instead of getting better they manage to get worse i was having so many issues with them the company send me a free gift and ask me to send them back to their main facility in Australia so their techs can run an evaluation to figure out all the different issues i was having and after the receive the IQbuds 2 Max i got a email that i have to wait again for them to send me a replacement but that met i would have to wait again until the come available and i already waited for a few months to get them. you would think after they got the ones i send back to them they would send me another pair right away right WRONG they wanted me to wait...

What a difference! I can hear again!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have experienced some hearing loss over the years, but I'm not sure I'm ready for hearing aids that cost 1000's of dollars. It's been hard to be a part of conversations at crowded places. These earbuds boost the sounds that I can't hear well and muffle sounds that interfere with my hearing the sounds that I want to hear. My grandkids can't believe that I can hear them at the other end of the table now, even in a noisy restaurant. They do take a little while to get used to because of sounds that your not used to hearing, but they're worth the effort. Also a great pair of noise cancelling music earbuds. Comes with easy to use app and syncs easily to my phone and other devices with bluetooth.

Not working after 3 sets of buds have been sent...
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product sounds fantastic....we just have not been able to use yet. The original set sent would not charge. Two additional sets were sent by best buy and only one of the total 6 buds we have is taking a charge. We have contacted Nuheara for replacement. Will gladly update this review once the issue is addressed and we can use the buds.

Great technology in small package
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I looked at the bose version of this. These were smaller and sound great. Tuned specifically to my hearing profile, they let me be around family and be "present" while still listening to media. You do need to keep case plugged in, because it will discharge if sitting too long. I use this more for voice media, and less for music, only because I have dedicated headphones for music.

Good product for hearing but not for conversation.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product helped my hearing but didn’t help much in conversation. I didn’t like the feedback I would get from my own voice.

Amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are short of being amazing. Sound quality is good. If you are an audiophile bass isn’t as deep as you may like but otherwise great headphones. The “world” hearing feature is an awesome function that lets you hear what’s going on around you. I love it all

ok "but"
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OK that's really all i can say about these. sound is ok, not $500 worth though, fit is ok but not great and the app needs tweeking. All in all not really worth the money. These are going back today, and Ill stick with my Jabra Elite Sport @ $300 less.

Q: QuestionI will try and clarify my question. Can two people with these Nuheara boost simultaneously us a blue tooth hot point device add to tv to listen?
Asked by yar60.
- A:Answer Yes. The Avantree Oasis TV Transmitter (recommended by Nuheara) allows for "dual link pairing", meaning that you can pair two sets of IQbuds BOOST with the device simultaneously. Note that your buds will NOT be paired with your phone once paired with the Avantree unit. However all your tap touch controls (world on/off) will work while using the TV transmitter device.

Q: QuestionIf these are intended for seniors, who mostly are on a fixed income, then why are these so expensive?!
Asked by BudHa.
- A:Answer Hearing aids generally start at $5000 and up to $10000. $500 is a good deal if a senior can use these versus hearing aids. Medicare does not cover hearing aids.

Q: QuestionI currently wear some very expensive hearing aids. I have a 60% loss in my left ear and a 50% loss in my right ear will these work for me? I have a hard time with a woman's voice and little girls voices.
Asked by rsbob.
- A:Answer I had bought these for my husband who has 60% hearing loss to his left ear. In hope this would help as well. He said it didn't work at all as it just amplifies everything. Also you will have to set these up which he was unable to do because he couldn't hear the tones. I ended up taking them back. These may work with someone with minor loss.
Answered by SMARIS
Q: QuestionOnce the buds are set up via your smartphone, do they have to continuously be connected to your smartphone via bluetooth if you just want to use them as normal amplifying devices (i.e. not streaming media)?
Asked by TBattles.
- A:Answer Hi TBattles, Once you have personalised the buds for your hearing via the App, you only need to connect to Bluetooth if you would like to stream media. The IQbuds do not need to be connected to Bluetooth if you would like to only use them for hearing augmentation.

Q: QuestionWill Best Buy let you try these in the store?
Asked by Tonenotvolume.
- A:Answer These aren't something you would want to "try" in the store. You need to take them home, fit them, set them up, and be amazed at what they can do. You do need to wear them in different settings to really see the full benefits of them. I do believe they are returnable within a certain number of days, but if you try them and hear what they can do, I dont think you will want to return them. I wear them in a busy restaurant with loud music playing , and I can still hear what my family is saying at the other end of the table.

Q: QuestionAre these capable of setting up different hearing profiles for each ear independent of each other?
Asked by burbanite.
- A:Answer Yes they do.... after fitting the earbuds to your ears with choice of several size adapters, the setup will independently test each ear and adjust each earbud accordingly. The step of fittng the adapters is very important to accurate adjustment settings. I ended up using a different size adapter in each ear. In my case my left ear hearing level is much worse than my right ear. After setting these up I dont have to turn my "good" ear to someone to hear them better anymore.

Q: QuestionWhat’s the warranty of iq buds boost and what’s the return policy of this product since this product base in Australia
Asked by Louie.
- A:Answer Purchased at Best Buy with Best Buy 15 day total return policy for any reason.
Answered by JohnW
Q: QuestionIs there insurance availability for the IQBUDS BOOST?
Asked by JustDaniel.
- A:Answer Insurance plans vary so much that this question is next to impossible to answer. I would contact my insurance company and get a pre-authorization before I depended on them to pay anything at all. My guess, after nearly 25 years in the health care industry is that they will not be covered.
