I bought this card a month or so ago and it is one of the best I have ever had. I upgraded from a GTS 450 by Galaxy to this and I am completely satisfied. It is powerful and it will run every game at max settings with no stutter. I do recommend to buy this with a good processor because the combination of the two makes it unbeatable. I mostly play Guitar Hero 3 on the PC and with Vertical Sync enabled I get a constant 60FPS with no lag, but I play with V-Sync disabled to where it gives me 800+FPS. I love this card so far, no problems at all. -Compatible with Direct X 11 -Comes with a DVI to VGA converter piece -Great Price Tag -Will run any game at highest resolution and max graphics settings -OUTSTANDING card comboed with the AMD Phenom II x6 processor -Easily Overclocked I recommend this card to any gamer if you want an amazing graphics card PS: If you are going to purchase this card, I recommend you buy aftermarket products. You don't want to try to run this card on a bad Power Supply Unit and bad Motherboard. Don't use PSU's and Mobo's that are from a Pre-built system such as they ones you buy at Wal-Mart or BestBuy or anywhere else, buy your things separate and have a professional put it together if you are uncomfortable in doing so. This card is powerful and needs a good amount of power.

Just bought this card 3 days ago from the local best buy after exchanging a laptop I didn't like. Buying an alienware(and yes I know they are overpriced, I just love the aesthetics) laptop instead, HOWEVER back to the point. I have been putting this card through the paces so far and its dominated everything thrown at it. I upgraded from a Nvidia GT8500 512MB card(seriously needed upgrading). So far it has ran these games on completely maxed settings; Anti-aliasing and everything. -Batman: AA GOTY -COD: Black Ops -RIFT -Everquest II -Dead Space 2 -Mass Effect 2 -Crysis -Darksiders Pros: Easy install if you have ever installed PC components(just plugs in to PCI-E slot and two PCI-E 8pin power connectors), Amazing performance, 3 year warranty directly from Nvidia, looks nice, price isn't terrible for the performance you get, runs really cool for the power and not very loud at all. Cons: Large card but its to be expected(need big case and motherboard if you're planning to run in SLI)((No need to SLI at this point IMHO)) Built PC: AMD Phenom II X4 BE(Deneb Core) 3.2GHz OC'd to 3.6GHz 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz Nvidia GTX 460 1GB GDDR5(core clocked) Asus Cool'N'Quiet Motherboard 785G series 320GB SATA for Windows 7 OS and games, 2TBx2 for Data Storage

I was looking for a graphics card for Call of Duty Black OPs. I like to run at 1920x1200 with anti-aliasing. I like Nvidia over ATI due to Linux compatibility. I liked three things about this card: (1) real Nvidia card, not an OEM like Galaxy or PNY or eVGA, (2) GTX 460 vs GTS 450 (despite numbering, 460 is big step up), (3) 1 GB (some gtx460s are 768MB). I know the other OEMs offer gtx460s at cheaper prices, but I liked the idea of a 'real' nvidia PCA design. The packaging alone showed the quality of this purchase. Anyway, the results are outstanding and I get 90 fps at 1920x1200 in COD:BO with qualities turned all the way up (with the latest updates to BO). Wow. Sometimes you have to splurge and sometimes it is worth it. The only downside is that has special power connectors, and on first try it smoked my 450W power supply. I bought a 600W Thermaltake PS (which I like equally well), it has the special connectors for the card, and no problems since then. Compatibility on WinXP and proprietary nvidia drivers under Ubuntu 10.10 is excellent. Performance is outstanding.
