Besides its obvious retro styling, what sets Olympus apart is that it designs cameras with integrated electronis not electronic gadgets that also take pictures. If you're a photographer looking for a very compact, walk around, high quality zoom (about 10:1), you'll love this camera. The constant F2.8 lens is first class, and it allows shallow DOF shots as well as lower light zoom shots. It's a bit of a photog's camera, but it's still has a great point and shoot mode. Solid and well design if you want some control over your pictures.
