Q: Does this camera come with the waterproof case??
A: The camera itself is waterproof to a certain depth (see specs). I only surface snorkel with it so no worries about the depth. There is an optional case you can purchase if you need greater depth and it is supposed to improve usability but it is very expensive. Other comments about this camera: I would recommend the optional lens cover that twists to open/close. It seems expensive for what it is but protecting the lens is important. Be aware the tiny button to start/stop recording movies is difficult to use. It is also not very obvious on the screen if it is recording a movie or not. I'm very satisfied with the picture quality and the GPS finds your location quickly.
Q: does this camera have date stamp option to show what day picture was taken?
A: Yes the TG-6 has a a DATE Stamp option. It can be enabled from "SHOOTING MENU 2" Please see Pg.*^ in the manual https://learnandsupport.getolympus.com/sites/default/files/media/files/2019/06/TG-6_ENU_00.pdf
Q: Are the GPS coordinates display on the photos when uploaded to the computer?
A: NO The GPS Coordinates do not appear in the Image area after downloading. The GPS info is stored in the EXIF data portion of the file which is visible if the program being used supports EXIF data
Q: What are the inclusions of this price? Is it only the camera itsef?
A: It comes with the camera itself, a strap, and a battery. You have to provide the SD card and case. It comes with a quick start guide but if you want the manual, you have to search online for it.
A: This will work with its regular lens in up to 50 Ft of water. Which is good for snorkeling or if your external housing leaks. However, I think its too easy to drop below 50 ft when diving to risk taking. For depths up to 200 ft there are several housings available from both Olympus and 3rd parties. These housings also include adapters for add on lenses and filters. This camera also has 3 preset under water white balance modes that will make an electronic color adjustment similar to that of an external filter
Q: Does this camera capture images in the dark with clarity?
A: In my opinion, this camera is not good for low light. It's main purpose is for underwater and tough sports. Also, it's macro capabilities are astonishing. I use other cameras for low light.
Q: What's the warranty like on this product? is it a olympus warranty?
A: All NEW Olympus cameras sold through Best Buy include a 1 year (from date of purchase) Olympus Warranty
A: Mine is NOT wiggly. I would say there is an issue.
