So after owning second hand and hand me downs, I finally decided to let loose of some money and buy a new system. I was originally going to go with Klipsch, but I’m glad I made this choice instead. I enjoy the mids, and highs the speakers produce (The sound fills our space with no problem. We live in a 1400 soft Townhouse). I spent multiple hours with the “burn in”, and there is a great quality of sound that they reproduce. I purchased four of the towers, a couple bookshelves, and center (I already had a nice subwoofer). I married them up with the Onkyo TX-NR656 (7.2 ch) receiver. It pushes all of the speakers with no problems. I like having the Onkyo App on my phone, and being able to turn the system on from our bedroom before I roll out of bed. As of yesterday I finished off our entertainment area with the Samsung UN65MU8000 television. Everything looks and sounds great!! I would definitely purchase again, and recommend to a friend.

When I was looking for a receiver I knew I wanted one that supported 4k, HDR, and Atmos. I was VERY pleased with how this Onkyo performed for me. Replacing my old SONY receiver, but keeping the same speakers, I surprisingly heard a difference in quality . The smart features are decent, didn't really use them, but it is nice that it offers both chromecast and apple airplay. There is a sound profile/mode for everyone, this receiver really covers all the basis. This receiver drove my 3 Polk Speakers tremendously and delivered high quality and loud sounds. Movies did feel a bit more immersive. WIth 3 HDR ports and about 6 ports in general. You can be sure you can plug all your entertainment gear into the receiver. NO degradation of quality or sacrifices as this supports the latest HDR standards and 4K. Playing PS4 Pro on this was a dream. Very happy with the overall performance of the receiver and look forward to growing my home theatre with this powering my speakers.

I have only had this amp for about a month but in that time i have loved it. There are many features to play with and plenty of power for most speakers. Only con I have for now is that it has a random clicking. This sound does not come through the speakers so it isn't that bad and I will live with it.
