Customers are satisfied with the sound quality, ease of use, and Bluetooth capabilities of the TX 5.2-Ch. 4K Ultra HD and 3D Pass-Through HDR Compatible A/V Home Theater Receiver. Many also appreciate the receiver's price and the range of features it offers, including 4K support and ample inputs. While some found the size to be a bit large, and a few experienced issues with bass and volume, the positive feedback on sound and ease of use outweighs these concerns. The setup process was also generally praised for its simplicity.

bought this to replace our 1984 Kenwood receiver that just died, had fun mixing analog with digital and had to find the right way to plug speakers in but mixing the old with new technology sounds awesome

Love the new receiver. Works exactly as intended for the price I paid! Doesn’t have a ton of bells and whistles but it runs my TV, PS4, Bookshelf speakers, Center channel, Chromecast, and subwoofer with no problem! Love the built in Bluetooth, it allowed me to get rid of quite a few wires!

Onkyo is the only brand receiver I’ve ever owned. It matches nicely with Klipsch speakers, the only home speakers I’ll ever own. I also listen to a lot of music so I enjoy the big bass sound from the two 12 inch klipsch subs. This stuff is a little pricey but if you keep your eyes open and don’t forget Best Buy will price match. You usually can’t go wrong with the onkyo or the klipsch brands. It’s the only brands I buy. You can’t tear this stuff up. My friends are so impressed I’ll sell them my old stuff just so I have an excuse to get the newer stuff.
