The unit is very quiet. At times it is hard to tell it is running without looking at it. It puts out the amount of heat expected. If outer doors to the room are kept closed it heats adequately. The remote does not work further than about 10 feet away. I like that the unit can be switched completely off, although that must be done manually on the back of the unit. I like the design, color, and size.
