Chair was missing threads so arm & back couldn’t be installed. Manufacturer promised to resolve, they never shipped replacement parts. Chair only extends to 17.5” not 19.8 as advertised.
Returned to BBY and bout an office Star brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This chair was too low to the floor. I am 5' and was not able to use this at my desk. Will be returning it.
I didn't like the way the back piece bolted to the support frame. I was expecting a snug fit, but after tightening all the way, there is a gap that I think looks awkward. It operates well though. I like the ability of the arms to fold up so the chair can rest closer to the desk when not in use.
I ordered this chair mostly because it was in my price range at the time and had decent reviews. It is a very nice chair, easy to assemble and looks cute. I also like that the armrests lift up. My only complaint (and it's really not a complaint) is that it isn't as comfortable as I hoped. It isn't a desk chair that you could sit in for hours and be comfy but otherwise, it gets the job done!
A:AnswerThe arms can rotate up and down. That's it. They don't shift up and down if you get what I mean. They rotate from the connection point on the chair and have one sitting position that's down and one resting position that is up.
I doubt anyone would ship the chair after it's been assembled.
