This is the best product I've ever purchased for my kitchen. When I bought this Oster blender it was to chop ice and make smoothies for me and my grand kids. However, besides those things this blender came with an extra "top" that makes this blender a mini food processor that allows me to grate cheese for tacos and mac and cheese, two more of my household favorites. In addition, It has 12 speeds that makes it possible to grind and puree most anything that most recipes call for. This is a real winner!

This blender has a wide range of modes. I use it for my smoothies a lot. My wife loves the food processor that comes with.

Purchased this because of the glass blender container. Has a lot of speed options. Power is sufficient for chopping up ice and making smoothies.
