No more twisting, pulling, or broken corks. The foil cutter included does the job perfectly fine. The opener is easy to use. The cork never stuck. The broken opener was purchased from another retailer, and it was simple but effective. However, this wine opener is better than my other one! It's more durable, easier to use, and the battery stays charged for a longer period. This is especially helpful when hosting a party or social gathering. Made a great gift for a friend as well!

I always wanted an electric wine bottle opener and I am very pleased with this one. It was fairly priced, works excellent, and most of all very simple to operate. It holds a charge for a good amount of time and so far has worked on every type of bottle/cork I attempted. It would be a nice addition to any wine lover's kitchen and makes a great gift!

I bought her another brand several years ago costing over $60 and she hated it. To hard to use and then it pooped out without a lot of use. I will only buy this brand again. Its great and very inexpensive.

Wonderful wine bottle opener

I only recently found out about rechargeable wine bottle openers and I think they are almost the best things ever invented! This Oster is wonderful and is easy to use and eliminates stress on my hands. I've given the Osters as gifts and the recipients love them.

Q: QuestionSee question below about oster model 4207 wine openerI have a oster model 4207 red wine opener about 2 years old. It now does not have enough power to remove the cork from the wine bottle. What is wrong?

- A:Answer Did you leave the AC adapter plugged in all the time. If so I was told by the manufacturer that this actually shortens the life of this product. They recommend you charge it for 24 hours and then unplug the recharging base until all the power is exhausted. Then you repeat the process to extend the life of this product.

- A:Answer All of our products that are sold in the United States and Canada are manufactured and UL approved for 110-120 voltage. We do not recommend the use of voltage converters or transformers because the discrepancy between voltages will alter the functionality of the products.

- A:Answer Inconsiderate of them to use a standard battery but hard wire it so it “can’t” be replaced…unless you have a Phillips screwdriver and a soldering iron. Order from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07M8F56N9?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details (Unitech AA900MAH 3.6V 6200RP 6200-RP Exitronix 10010037 Lowes 253799 TOPA 3.6v 900mAh NiCD Battery Pack Replacement; <$7.00), cut wires and remove old battery, cut the connector off the new battery and solder to the matching wires in the corkscrew. Charge for an hour or two and it will be as good as new.

If the cork is stuck inside the cordless wine opener, you can try to move the cork back in the opener, then push the button down and you will slowly push the cork inside on the side to make sure it would come out of the bottle opener. - A:Answer I have this model, and it opened a plastic cork with no trouble at all just last night. Just be sure to use the included foil cutter first, and you're good to go!
