This used to be my favorite iPhone case in the past. The materials on this case are fantastic, and unlike past OtterBox Defender cases, it doesn't add too much bulk. If you've used past Defender cases, you'll know just what to expect with this one in terms of protection. Pair this with a glass screen protector, and your phone will last a very long time even in rough environments. I knew this case would not work with MagSafe, and I was fine with that. However, it does not work with the Belkin Wireless Charging Stand, despite advertising as "Wireless Charging Compatible." My OtterBox Defender Pro for iPhone XS had no issues working with the Belkin Wireless Charging stand. I don't know if the rubber is made out of different materials or what. Unfortunately, I will need to return this case. I really liked the way it felt in my hands and the protection it offered my phone.

The OtterBox for the iPhone 12 Pro Max is an excellent choice for iPhone users who want a sturdy protective case and a plastic belt-clip holster for daily use. The case comes in 3 parts: a 2-piece plastic inner shell, a rubberized outer shell and the holster with rotating belt clip that allows variable orientation on your waist. The rubberized outer shell allows use of the volume and on/off buttons and has protective flaps for the power port and vibrate/sound switch. For non-belt use, just get the model with only the case as the holster would add unnecessary bulk and weight.

I was so please to have this Otterbox as a reward for a new IPhone 12 Max. I want to protect this phone and I have the complete confidence Otterbox will do the trick! They have made The Otterbox more user friendly by slimming them down and reducing the weight which I am pleased. The Otterbox has grown with every new year! This is I have the purple berry with a new beautiful iPhone!
