Looking to protect iPad from wife and toddler granddaughter. Both like to drop things. ;-) The case is a bit heavy but seeing that the iPad Air was dropped to the floor within 48 hours of being encased in the OtterBox, I think it was a good investment. Protects the electronics and the screen from most accidental mishandling.
