Otterbox - Defender Series Case for Samsung Galaxy S 4 Mobile Phones - Black

I feel it will add the best protection for my Samsung Galaxy S4 Cell Phone. Case feels strong yet is easy to access the phone. Plus I can attach it to my belt with the included belt clip, top of the case.

The Otterbox gives awesome protection and functionality. I had purchased the lifeproof case and it gave poor audio performance for sound on the other end of phone calls... a hollow sound. So i purchased the Defender. On the con side and im not really complaining because I love the form and function. .. it's not waterproof and is a bit bigger than the lifeproof. On the positive... You can take the plastic screen protector out and use the Zagg glass protector ... with awesome clarity and additional protection...the ports for the pen, speaker and camera are flawless ... charger and audio ports protected by rubber flaps and operate like they should... the belt clip i use for everything but wearing on my belt because it fits nicely in my front or back pocket without the need for the clip.. I have the sturdy and versitle clip usually mounted to my sun visor where you can snap the phone in the facing the out position so you can view the screen for gps ect... The clip rotates on the body 360 degree so you can view the screen either portrait or landscape or anywhere in betwen, the case snaps in securely to the belt clip... audio is not diminished in any way with the case on... needless to say my ultimate combinatin with my Tab 4 is the Otterbox Defender, Zagg glass screen protector and the beats blue tooth earphones another must have .... This is the most durable, and protective case I have purchased. I am really impressed with the case. The price was just right. The appearance is kind of plain, but it does a wonderful job protecting my phone. The case makes my phone a little bit heavier, but its worth the protection.

I bought this case for my wife after i dropped her phone and cracked the screen. This case seems much more sturdy and protective than the last Otterbox Commuter case she had. That was a good case as well, but this one seems to have an extra layer of protection and you dont have to mess with those pesky screen protectors because this one is built into the frame of the case.

I bought this Otterbox case to replace one that I had been using for nearly two years. The reason for replacing my Otterbox case was that I wanted a different color cover. After two years my old case showed minimal signs of wear. It did a great job protecting my phone from damage due to dropping my phone and a few occasional spills.

The perfect case if you are looking to protect your phone from falls and wear & tear. This case is the second one I have purchased. The only reason I bought a new case is because the rubber shell became a little loose after 2 yrs of talking it off and putting it on. Some people may find it a little bulky.
