Otterbox gets serious. The inner protection is a polycarbonate case with internal padding between the case and the Note 9. Then, add optimum protection by placing it in an impact absorbing thick rubber shell. The case adds ample clearance to protect the screen when one places the phone on a table face down. The Otterbox Defender Pro case is synonymous to maximum protection. Why look any further? (Note: Recommend Otterbox Alpha glass screen protector for optimum screen protection.) One of the attached image is the bottom of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. One can see the amount of rubber protection enclosing the phone.

The OTTERBOX case for the Note9 has the same great quality I expect from OTTERBOX I expect it to last longer than the phone.

This case is all I expected it to be, with one major exception. "and the built-in screen cover keeps your phone display scratch-free and responsive to touch." This is a Screenless Edition. If you want a case with a built in screen protector, move on.
