I've used OtterBox products since the Note 2. None of my phones sustained damage from drops, bumps, or other harsh treatments. They were not waterproof versions. I lost 2 phones to water damage. 1 was lost for not having screen protection. None of that due to poor case design. I use the defender series on all my devices with full confidence. OtterBox is long lasting and quite rugged. It is easy to install, when installed correctly, and more importantly, to remove, also when done correctly. After 7 years on my Note 4, the headphone flap, opening on the plastic portion of the case, finally broke off. Still it continued to protect the phone with the rubber case component. I continue to trust my equipment to OtterBox Defender Series products. They are well worth the cost. $59.00 is a small price compared to replacing a $1200.00 phone.

I would never use any other case! Otterbox may be the most expensive case, but its also the best! You get what you pay for! I bout this 2 weeks before the phone itself came out just to be sure it was protected from day 1! Always fits perfect and protects everything!
