I had a leather Apple case and really liked it but dropped the phone and it scuffed the case up pretty good and chipped the glass screen protector. I wanted a slightly more protective case without adding a lot of bulk. This case does a great job at that. It is very protective for a thin case. It is a little tough to put on since it is one piece and not 2 like other Otterbox cases. But it will go on eventually. The only thing I wish I could change is to add a little more of the softer rubber to the sides of the case for better grip. But it is fine the way it is.

I was looking for an OtterBox product that didn't have the thickness of the Defender series. The Symmetry series provides the protection I want with a slim design that keeps my phone from becoming overly heavy and large. My iPhone 6S Plus has already survived a three foot fall to a hardwood floor without a scratch. I tried Lifeproof and went back to OtterBox. I'm glad I did.

This case is alright if you want a fairly slim case that provides good protection. It's much slimmer than the Defender but needless to say it doesn't provide that level of protection. I think it's expensive compared to other cases that provide similar protection though. I ended up returning it because it was so slick I was always afraid I'd drop my phone.
