OtterBox - Symmetry Series Case for Apple® iPhone® 7 Plus - Aqua/Pink

This case is well made, and has protected my i Phone every time I dropped it.

Love the strong case holder for my iPhone. Great protection. I have one for my iPhone 6 Plus and got one for my husband new iPhone 7.

Saw this case online. Decided to run and get it. Turned out to be the best case i have bought to date.

The case on the website doesn't match what you will receive in the mail. The one is the mail is Aqua colored with white stripes and coral pink at the bottom, picture uploaded for reference. Just wanted to mention too that this review should have no reflection on Otter Box, they are great products!! I would have given a 5 star had the description on Best Buy's website matched what I received.

I've purchased Otterbox cases in the past for others, like my elderly aunt who's prone to drop her phone, or my dad who's always doing some sort of crazy home/car improvement project - and yes, I've seen them accidentally drop their iPhones down stairs or on concrete; and the phones always survives. ...so I figured why not get an Otterbox case for myself. The Symmetry series is different from what I've seen - it's a one piece case, so it's not hard at all to get the phone in/out of the case quickly; yet, it seems much more sturdy than any other clear case I've ever tried. Since it is more sturdy, the case does make it harder to press the power and volume buttons on the phone - it requires a bit more strength. I'm pretty confident that if I drop my phone, it will likely be fine. The packaging also states the case will not yellow since it's UV resistant - a major issue with most clear cases, so we'll see how it really ages. The reason for taking a star off is that the case is not really clear. The exterior is smooth, like most other clear cases; but, the back interior is a bit rough, which is why the case isn't truly clear. I ordered a custom skin for my phone and was hoping for a clear case to show it off. The blue comes through; but, not the carbon fiber-like finish. I'm including images to show what the skin looks like stand alone vs being in the case. Personally, I don't mind that it doesn't come through as much because I'm not liking the color choice now that it's on the phone. ...but those of you hoping to show of a decal/skin on your phone might want to keep in mind that this case is not truly clear. If you want a semi-clear case that will protect your phone and doesn't yellow (per the packaging), than maybe this is a right choice.

The new line of Otterbox cases (the Symmetry series) provides nearly all the protection of the older Otterbox lines, without the bulk. This slimline case adds very little thickness to the phone (it's still easy to slip the phone in your pocket). Additionally, all of the buttons are easily pushed through the case (unlike some cases). I have owned this case for 8 months and in that time have dropped my phone more than a handful of times. The case (plus the a tempered glass screen protector) have ensured none of those drops have resulted in a broken phone or screen. HIGHLY recommend.

This is my second brand new OtterBox Symmetry. I got it on sale for $27.99 at BestBuy. I dropped my first one and marked it up so I wanted a fresh one. It's a great case with good protection and not much bulk. It's ok on grip. Could be better but ive had worse. You can't beat OtterBox quality and customer service. It's sleek and goes in and out of the pocket east. I definitely recommend this case for any device especially the iPhone 6 and 7 plus.
