Overwatch Origins Edition - PlayStation 4

Everything about this game is fun. It's fast-paced and has plenty of characters to choose from. Each character has unique abilities and weaknesses and it's up to you to figure out which one works best with your current team. You're encouraged to try them all. After a while you settle on a few favorites. Besides the incredible art and graphics, I'm slowly discovering that there is a lot of story buried in the game. It's Blizzard after all and they're known for deep lore. This game is great for pretty much any fan of first-person shooters. Be warned though, there's not story mode so if you're thinking of not participating in the PvP action, you're in for disappointment. This is 100% PvP right now. Maybe Blizzard will add story modes later.

It's been awhile since I've played such a diverse game like OVERWATCH. First off the character selection is great! 21 heroes to choose from and all with different abilities you must master. No so many game modes, but the games can last a long time. The game is brilliantly polished and just a blast to play! I highly recommend OVERWATCH to anyone who's is a fan of multiplayer. THERE IS NO STORY MODE! All is online play.

Excelent online game good for all ages, best of the Last games on the market

If you're looking for a game that's fun to play with your friends and great in short bursts, this is it. In this fast paced shooter, two teams of six compete to complete certain objectives (king of the hill, escorting a car throughout the map, etc). There are over 20 characters to choose from and each has their own unique abilities. The graphics are bright and colorful, the soundtrack is great, and I experienced no delay, glitches or lag when playing; simply put, it's fast, fun and strategic. This is without a doubt one of the most fun games I've played yet on PS4, especially with your friends (though it's still fun solo).

Overwatch is an awesome multiplayer only first person shooter, massive online battle arena type of game that lets teamwork be the forefront. The game lets you pick different characters with different types of abilities. That is a factor in why it is important to have teamwork in this game. The amount of different characters is vast, but the game modes and maps can feel repetitive over time as it will randomly select the game type and map when you search for games. Overall, this is a fun game if you can get pass the repetitiveness of it.

Let's get the bad out of the way first. Yes, there are only 10 maps and 3 modes available from the start, though Blizzard has promised additional content such as Competitive by the end of June and new maps in the coming months. Also, the Loot Boxes are hard to get excited about considering they're mostly skins, sprays, and other misc. cosmetic collectibles for the characters. Now let's get to the good. Literally the core gameplay is amazing, which is all the more surprising considering this is Blizzard's first foray into the FPS market. The same level of polish you have come to expect from the studio is here in spades and the gun play is extremely satisfying. Each of the 21 Characters is unique in their own way. They may break down into 4 main types: Offense, Defense, Tank, and Support but couldn't be any different. This coupled with the fact that you can switch characters on the fly during matches, turns a 5-10 minute Overwatch match into a chaotic game of chess that has to be played to be understood. Also, if previous Blizzard titles are anything to go by you can be sure that this game will be supported for years to come with additional content such as maps, modes, characters, and more. Admittedly the initial offering here is a bit sparse, but I'd highly recommend it nonetheless especially if you have friends to play online with.

“Only multiplayer game” Love this game. Characters are well developed and it feels like a Pixar movie. Graphics and gameplay are simple but fun, a must have for shooters

This game is addicting and easy to get into. One of the best multiplayer shooters out there. So many characters to choose from with varying skills sets, making the replay value high. So much fun to get a group of friends together online to team up and play with. This game is all around very well thought out and for someone who gets destroyed in COD multiplayer matches, I actually found myself holding my own in Overwatch, which was a nice change of pace. Pick it up!!
