Panasonic - 50" Class (49-1/2" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - HDTV

Purchased for the living room, because of the pric, I wasn't looking for a mind blowing picture, but I have to say I'm very impressed. I also have a 2014/2015 Samsung 60" in my room. Spent quite a bit more for a near perfect picture, and they really aren't much different! Either way, for the price, it's much bang for the buck.

We needed a tv for the spot over the fireplace. Our contractor told me not to buy less than 50". I wasn't convinced we needed one that large but thankfully this Panasonic is perfect. The picture is great. Controls easy to manipulate. Great tv.

I have had this TV for a couple of weeks now. The color is AWESOME! It has a beautiful picture, great sound, and was very easy to set up. I got it on sale at a great price and couldn't be more pleased with my purchase! I wasn't interested in a Smart TV so this set fit my needs. I previously had a Panasonic TV for over 15 years and it was still working great. I just wanted a larger flat screen TV and did not hesitate to get another Panasonic.

Let me start by stating this was a purchase for my daughter as she moved out of the house and into her first apartment. I have been tracking this particular model line from Panasonic for a while and often thought it would be the right one for myself when it comes time to replace my existing television. I've seen the television in action myself at her apartment and I was very, very pleased with the purchase. The picture quality was, to my eyes, incredible. Much better than I believed possible at a $399 price point (was on sale). And unlike my parents older Panasonic plasma television the speakers didn't totally suck. My daughter has done nothing but rave about the television. According to her it was a breeze to set up (out of the box, put together, and up and running in 15 minutes). The remote is good. I quote, "I am more than happy with it! With the quality and price, I feel like we stole it." She may not be a tech/gear head like me, but she knows what she likes and apparently this purchase, guided by dad, was spot-on.

Was somehow able to get this on bestbuy.com during Black Friday. Didn't think it woukd go through since they were so limited in the stores, but 4 days later it arrived. Perhaps a perk of being a Elite Plus BB member?! As for the TV itself, we are replacing a 5 tear old generic brand HDTV and this one is imeasureably better. It's ver thin, the sound is great, I set it up and had it going by myself within 20 minutes. LED is awesome compared to the LCD we had prior. "Negatives": 1) it is NOT a smart TV or 3DTv etc and there is no connectivity from the set itself but 3D is already on the way out and we have a blu-ray player that has all the apps that most smart TVs have so no biggie. 2) well, that's about it. Again, for 199.99 this was absolutely positively a no brainer. I would NOT however have even considered this TV at regular price as many top brand 'smart tv's' are in the same price range (but again not THAT important to us). If yku can get this TV for a great deal, do it.

This TV is large and has a great price point. Not too expensive, and it seems well designed with good aesthetics. However, the out of box picture is wanting. You will have to adjust the picture for your room. This is normal on just about all TV's nowadays, but the menus and number of calibrations for this tv are lacking. You can adjust the normal stuff, contrast, tint, color and brightness. But you do not have a complete menu to get to any of the advanced settings. As a result, you have to really tinker with what you have to get the best picture. Another alternative is to pay Best Buy for calibration. But it was an economical purchase and I didn't want to do that. I'm good at calibrating to close to THX settings on my own, but this tv is a lot harder to do than some of the LG and Samsung sets I have owned, which have expanded calibration menus. But other than calibration difficulties, the final result is a very decent picture and I'm satisfied with the purchase.

Great Picture, Great Price, Coupled with my Onkyo HT- S3500 5.1 Surround Sound System, my Apple TV and my Xbox One THIS ITEM IS OF UNBEATABLE VALUE. Only improvement to be made is on the amount of HDMI inputs (only 2)
