If you’re considering purchasing this camera, you should expect to understand it, how it works and it’s requirements. The camera is a Swiss Army knife of a tool. I was able to build out and kit this camera with decent glass and support gear for less than the cost of a Komodo body. This is not a camera you should think about for home videos. It is full manual, so be prepared for that. There is no included battery or charger, but options are easily available and affordable if you know where to buy. I bought a mid range generic battery and will get 4 hours of life easy on it. The image quality is incredible for such a small unit. I was worried about shooting Micro 4/3 but after several tests I don’t even think about it. You WILL need V90 SDXC cards to be able to record full internal quality. The HDMI outputs RAW to an external recorder like a NinjaV, very nice option and good quality. There’s so much more to this camera than just that. HD-SDI, POE, live-streaming options and more! Overall, the camera has some quirks to learn, but if you’re looking for a small production rig and good bang for the buck, this camera is an excellent option. The Panasonic community is very friendly and helpful also!

It is portable. However at this price I expect it work more smoothly, it is too slow to focus
