This camera is easy to use and takes great photos. The 60x zoom enables taking photos of things from a distance. It's also affordable.

We purchased this camera for our son who is 12 years old, who is passionate about taking photos. He really likes taking nature and close up pictures. This camera does it all. The closeup pictures are very clear and so are the closeup zoomed pictures. We have friends who are professionals on this field and they are very impressed with the quality of pictures and videos of this camera. The Panasonic Lumix FZ80 is a great choice!!!

If you really want to get that far off shot with beautiful results, this is the camera! Great for candid bird, butterfly and animal shots. I have taken tons of shots that I couldn't have with any other point and shoot. I love it! Just took a trip to Teddy Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota and got some good shots from afar. See attached.
