Q: what is the width of this tv?

A: Can always find this info on the Specifications tab with each TV, but it'll be just a fraction under 51"

Q: Do you have to purchase the 3D glasses separately?

A: Unfortunately, yes. Glasses will run you about $50-$80 per pair. Panasonic only includes 3D glasses with their LED models since they use passive 3D technology whereas the Plasma models use the more expensive Active Shutter 3D glasses.

Q: how do you hook up tv to internet?

A: You have two options. The easiest is to run an ethernet cable to the TV. You can also have it setup through a WiFi connection provided the signal is strong enough. It prompts for network information upon the initial TV setup. Afterwards, all you have to do is hit the Menu button and go to the Network option.

Q: Does this set have picture in picture

A: I haven't messed with the PIP on the VT50, yet, but the reps have said that it is there. Owning a VT50, I'd tell you to just give Panasonic a call and they can walk you through how to set it up.
