Excellent TV with Excellent picture
Posted .Pros: the picture of the Panasonic TC-P58VT25 is the best I have seen and the picture and colors seem endless! Cons: the price could be better always but the price of anything new has never been the best. 3-D pictures still needs more work of course and not sure about the burn in yet since I had the TV for 40 days. However, we will have to see as the time goes by. The remote control could be better as well. Summary: First the picture is really the best I have ever seen, or at least as good as I have ever seen. Picture is super sharp. The colors on this TV seem endless, bright and almost as accurate as the Pioneer Kuro. Panasonic should be able to say with ease that their plasma is the most advanced by holding all of Pioneers and their own patents. It shows.

Great Picture Period, 2D,3D, HD, Regular TV!
Posted .Purchased this TV after returning the Samsung UN55C8000, which only had a good picture directly in front of the TV. The picture on this TV is great from anywhere in the room. Cable HD broadcasts are incredible, and even non-HD broadcasts are excellent, which was not true for the Samsung. You still can't beat the color and depth of a plasma TV. Bought the 3D Blue Ray player with this TV as well, and we were blown away by the Panasonic Demo 3D Blue Ray Disk. This TV has full 1080P 3D (also not true for the Samsung), and the picture and 3D effect is incredible, even better than I had imagined. Can't wait for more 3D content to be available.

Worth the money 'but'
Posted .This is really one of the best TVs I've ever seen. I work in TV industry. We manufacture TVs, high-end TVs, good brand TVs, all kinds of TVs including LED LCD, Plasma, DLP, even CRT TVs, around 5 million sets per year! I know what a good TV is. Even though this is a plasma display panel, I chose to go with this one (on LED LCD) because it's really good, especially in terms of picture quality. The reasons I rate it 4 stars are: 1) The volume control bar is from 0 to 100 Unless I exceed 16, I hear this very low-pitch noise. Especially with the scenes with high white color, it's very annoying. Also at nights! You can't turn the volume up high to 10! and in that case you hear it more. 2) No conversion from 2D to 3D. Other than these, it is a great TV! I like the Viera Cast feature. It includes Bloomberg, Weather, Youtube, Netflix, Pandora, Picassa, Amazon on demand, Fox Sports, Skype, etc

We love this TV
Posted .This tv is great! We have been researching tvs for 2 months to find the right one at the right price. We read all of the professional reviews (cnet) and this is the tv that we decided on. We were on a budget, so we were looking for a package deal. Our TV came with a blu-ray player, a couple of 3D movies and couple of 3D glasses. We are extremely picky about picture quality and this tv delivers an amazing picture! My husband wanted a LED LCD instead of a plasma to begin with because of the supposed "image retention". However when they showed me the comparison between an LED LCD, LCD and Plasma. I decided on the Plasma as there was just no comparison: the Viera was the best. The blacks are so deep, it almost looks as though the tv is off when the screen is black. The deep blacks make the colors pop! I highly recommend this tv to everyone. It is an extremely good deal. Save yourself some money. Good luck deciding on your next tv I hope this review helped. However, the 3D glasses are not the greatest glasses. They are uncomfortable and the gap at the sides allows light to come through.

I love this Panasonic TC-P58VT25
Posted .I am a very picky person when it comes to video / audio. God knows how many hours I spent doing my research. I even bought the Samsung PN58C800 and Panasonic TC-P58VT25 TVs together until the Panasonic TC-P58VT25 showed me what the TV is made of. This TV has no flaw regarding if you are watching 2D standard TV, Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3Ds or even old DVDs coming via component cables. I am very happy that I bought this Panasonic TC-P58VT25. Panasonic does it again.

BEST PICTURE PERIOD
Posted .I have no idea what that guy was talking about that wrote that book up there. This TV has the best picture period for everything and stress everything, the blacks are great and the color is perfect. I have seen the 63c8000 and the only thing that TV has going for itself is that it is thin. The reason for the full 3D is because the rendering is not 3D it's gives the illusion of 3D. Try turning your head with the 3D glasses on with that TV or just move to the side with the glasses and they will turn off. I advise anybody that wants a real TV grab this ONE!!!!!!!!

Worth The Investment
Posted .This is a great television! I spent a lot of time researching online and visiting a variety of stores evaluating TVs. I was not a plasma person and owned LCD and LED TVs. I must say that the Panasonic 58” VT25 plasma TV won me over. The picture clarity and colors are second to none. I had become accustomed to the depth perception quality on LED TVs and had to make a choice between that or clear brilliant color of the Panasonic plasma. The Panasonic won hands down. If you are into 3D the Panasonic 3D action is smooth and doesn’t flicker like some LED TVs. Also, I purchased this TV in a bundle with 3D glasses and 3D Blu-ray player with Wi-Fi adapter; Unbeatable value. I highly recommend this television.

Best blacks of any tv on the market
Posted .I compared it to the samsung c8000 plasma which had more of a led look but the colors on the panny were more accurate and it has a better cooling system which is why you will not hear buzzing like the samsung. You will not regret it.

Q: Question"Black level shift" or "floating blacks" problem?Has Panasonic fixed its "black level shift" or "floating blacks" problem on the latest plasma units? Or does/will the TC-P58VT25 have this problem?
Asked by Heimdall.
- A:Answer Hi Heimdall. This was not a problem with the TV. The plasma TV panel is made using the best technology that is available today. The panel will not be completely absent of light, even in black backgrounds or the sidebars/letterbox bars, until the TV is turned off and all current is completely discharged. Possible causes of the anomaly reported are: - Light is reflecting from the picture off the panel’s glass. - Light is reflecting from other light sources off the panel’s glass. - The user's visual acuity may be more keen to changes in gradation within the picture. - The user is comparing the black color (shade) in the picture to the sidebars or letterbox bars. - The user is comparing the black color (shade) in the picture to the black bezel.
