      Parking mode is a joke

      I would return this if Bestbuy's return policy didn't suck. Not many dash cam's have a parking mode unless it's hardwired to the car. The parking mode is supposed to record if your car get's hit. I tried shaking my car to trigger the parking mode but it didn't turn on but it did record when I accidentally hit it with my sun visor. Also although the camera has many options, it works best with default setting. I tried changing the resolution and changing the loop record but it would only record intermittently and the loop function didn't work so the memory card would fill up and alert "Memory Full". Maybe I got a dud but I do not recommend this camera.

        Hi Jimm,
        The GoSafe 220 dashcam will also need to hardwired to your vehicle in order to take full advantage of the Parking Guard feature or G-Sensor. If you're not a fan of hardwiring, you can also use a power bank to take advantage of these surveillance features. If you're receiving a "Memory Full" error, I recommend formatting in your computer and lowering the sensitivity for the Parking Guard and G-Sensor features, too much sensitivity causes the dashcam to record Emergency Recordings, causing the "Memory Full" error.       This is my first dash cam so wanted something reasonably priced to try. I have been pleased with the overall functionality and performance for a device within it's price range. It took a few days to tweak and get used to but now I hardly notice it while I'm driving.

      Great Camera for the price

      Purchased the Camera on the deal of the day sale, great price! Out the box, easy set up no problems or glitches. Sometimes the camera will freeze or do something weird, however there's a reset button on the top that after pushed, reset and restarts back to use.

      I was excited when this dash cam was delivered. Then I tried to mount it to my windshield. The suction cup had a wave in it and would not mount to anything, especially my windshield. Made sure windshield was clean and no luck at all. Returned this and bought a Garmin dash cam.

      Don't Waste Your Time

      This thing freezes, overheats, green screens, and shuts-down randomly. We went on a 4 hour road-trip, and it failed 13 times. I am returning mine. I am not confidant it will be functioning when the time comes that I needed it to be working.

      I bought this to replace Uniden dash cam, which is much smaller in size. The Papago has bigger screen and a 1080 resolution video, which is what I'm looking for. Also with a wider camera angle.

      Software Crashed As Soon As I Turned It On

      I take it out of the box and turn it on, and got a bricked screen. Tried to restore with new firmware and even called the manufacturer and while they were very nice people, they couldn't help me. So this was a waste of $$$
