Customers are positive about the Clutch Camera Hand Strap's comfort, quality, security, and design. However, customers are negative about the product's compatibility with smaller cameras and its overall size, which can be awkward for some users.
This is great for people that don’t like to use a strap around their neck to hold their camera. The quality is superb and feels like it will last forever. I only have one issue with the strap. When it is tightened down, it slightly reduces the reach of my fingers to control the camera one handed on my Nikon DSLR. This can be fixed by loosening up the strap, but feels a little too loose and takes away from its purpose.

This hand strap has been awesome from day one. For me personally, I always look for simplistic, minimal things so that my workflow goes by as smooth as possible and sometimes, having a a long neck/shoulder strap just gets in the way. I got this hand strap along with the capture clip and it just makes taking pics much easier Good, simple design. Latches are of good quality and so far, I have no issues using it on multiple cameras. I have a small Canon t7i and a full frame 5d Mark IV and it fits great. It’s also very durable as I caught my full grown husky chewing on it one day and not a single bite mark or scratch. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to ditch the neck/shoulder straps and go with something simpler

I really like the ideas behind the entire Peak Design system. The connectors are clever and make changing strap types very simple and easy. The clutch strap has rarely been on my camera however for a couple reasons. First the bottom plate and connector prevent you from putting it on a tripod. Second, the top connector next to the shutter button does not use the Peak Design connectors and must be fed through your normal strap connector on the camera. Not a big deal if your strap connection is large but on my Sony A7iii it is small and requires me to fight it to get the strap through the connector. Fourth, if I already have a Peak Design connector hanging from the strap holder near the shutter button I cannot feed the clutch strap through. It has to come off and then I have to fight to get the clutch strap through. Finally, when I do have the clutch strap on, it must be tightened to feel secure and not like I am going to drop the camera. When it is that tight it is hard to move my hand around to the different buttons and wheels to adjust camera settings. I am hoping in time that I get more use to it, but right now I have only had it on my camera a handful of times.
