I set up this thing but noticed my cat would only eat the first tray, and upon further inspection I noticed it wasn't spinning. It would open to the same first tray. I troubleshot it and it worked before my trip for one full three day cycle. Now on the second day of my trip, it failed to cycle and is feeding the cat an empty bowl. I had to call over a friend to come fix it. This thing is going to get a cat killed since the time for a cat to go without food is three days before it's serious. This thing is a liability issue and should not be purchased if it can function with some reliability.

Such a great concept, but there are way too many glitches with the software. It won’t function properly past one day of use, which means I have a completely reset the schedule each day. Setting the schedule is a bit of a pain, but unless I do that each day the machine consistently opens the wrong compartment. This means my cat may get a handful of treats instead of an actual meal, which means he will promptly throw up. Forget about contacting customer service. Their response time is a complete joke and there is no phone number to be found anywhere. The product has so much potential but the company has done a crap job with the execution. And for such expensive products their customer service is just a complete joke. I really want this thing to work, but in all likelihood I will be returning it. My advise is to not purchase. Let them work out kinks first. But if the response time of their customer service is any indicator I’d say it will be about a decade before they work out anything.
