We bought a new vehicle without a built-in entertainment system like our previous ride, figuring aftermarket would be way cheaper. It is definitely cheaper, but there are some definite tradeoffs. This system is easy to use and being able to show two different movies at the same time is fantastic. One major drawback (aftermarket vs built in) is trying to get a movie inserted or even playing once you are driving - there is not remote and therefore definitely requires some manual intervention. That being said it works great and even sounds decent.

The only downside to this product is the lack of a battery. That would give it 5 stars. However for traveling in a car on long trips my son uses it to watch his children's shows in the backseat. You can also hook them up to a regular outlet inside a house which doubles their usage as a stationary dvd player which you can output through A/V cables to a much larger screen. The sound while in a car driving down the road is loud enough that I can hear it in the front seat if I turn the radio down. Great product for great price.

Great sound and picture. Would be nice if it had come with a remote control. Buttons are easy access and easy to operate.
