Q: How many come in one package?
A: Unfortunately, only one Hue Go is included. The photos show off the five lighting modes that you can use without access to the Hue App which can make the Hue Go do extra colors.
Q: What accessories do I need to use the colors of this hue lamp? What kind of hue bridge do I need?
A: You can select a few different colors and scenes directly on the unit with the bottom on the back. If you want full control of the Hue Go you will need to connect it to a Hue Bridge on your home network and use the Hue app.
A: I have found the blooms to be more directional where the go's provide a nice space of light all around without being annoying.
A: They can be dimmed a lot. I have mine on a motion sensor for nighttime. That way it only comes on when I get up. Works great!
Q: Will the Hue multicolor work with amazon echo?
A: It does work with Echo, but there's a cooler app that is better for the hue. It's called Cube AI for Hue. You can speak normally instead of having to be exact about what you say. You can tell it to set the lights to 70% brightness or tell it to dim the lights
Q: Is the bulb in this fixture changable, or once it burns out you buy a new unit?
A: The bulb is not changeable. It supposedly has an insane life, due to it being led lights.
A: This light can be taken outside. 2-3 hours on a full charge. It is not waterproof.
Q: Does the hue go require wifi or a hub to run?
A: Without a Hue hub (bridge) and no wifi, these still have a few different settings on there own just by pushing the power button on the bottom. Each push has something different. To turn off, hold down the power button. However, for extended use you will need Hue bridge and wifi, iPhone or Android, and Hue app. Not sure if works with Windows smartphones.
