Philips - Hue White A19 Bluetooth Smart LED Bulb - White

My addiction started out simply and innocently enough. I purchased a 4-pack of white/color bulbs with HUE bridge. I then discovered apps like "HUE Thunder". I also became more adept and utilizing the different functions available with using the bridge. My addiction has progressed and I have several white/color bulbs and several white bulbs. These fit perfectly for some small wall mounted lamps in my study. The compliment and synch with main lighting in the room.

After experimenting with several other brands I had to stick with the one that absolutely works.. I operate Alexa and Ring Home Alarm system and everything integrated very well.. the others seem to unpair and have lagging issues and this made it difficult when some of my lighting is elevated 18’+ and inside a fixture for reprogramming. Save yourself the headache and spend a little extra on something that works.

Love my new smart bulbs. Easy to connect with hue bridge and Lenovo clock. It’s made turning on my ceiling fan lights so much fun.I recommend the starter kits for the value.

I now have 3 lights that make it convenient to go room to and be able to command the light on before get there. Am older so I need to see carefully.Really like them. Easy to connect if you tech savvy.

Hue bulbs are a great addition to Echo devices, not only on/off control but dimming as well. Reasonable priced too.

Philips Hue White A19 LED Bulb Works well with Amazon Alexa (Hue Hub Required) and after setting up through the Hue Hub, was easy to integrate with Alexa. Priced reasonably, i highly recommend them:)

Bulbs are great for speaking to turn on and change the level of lighting. HOWEVER, it becomes more of a challenge when grouping. We bought these with the intent of using in a lamp that has two bulbs that are controlled by a rotating switch that turns one on first, then the other one to have two one, then both off. It is little bit more difficult to manage getting them set to turn them on together. It can probably be done, but had to group one light with a group of other lights and the other one separately. It works for our arrangement, but gave up trying to get it set as one group together. And if you accidently turn the switch off, it changes the group setting and back to the struggle of managing how the two in one lamp are set-up. Good bulbs, just the dual use in one lamp was more difficult to manage.

These are one of hue's more reasonably priced items for everyday overhead or lamp lighting. It's just a White light (no warm white) but they are still great to have in your hue ecosystem for places like bathrooms, hallways, laundry rooms, etc..see picture of two of them in the recessed ceiling lights in the picture.
