Philips Norelco - Electric Shaver - Black

This product makes me love shaving my legs. I feel like I'm pampering myself instead of cleaning a toilet. When I used straight razors, I would nick myself constantly and it would take me 20 minutes. I had to shave every 4 days and most of the time I would just let my hair grow out b/c I hated shaving so much. With this razor I'm done in less than 5 minutes but I have to shave every other day. The shave isn't as close, but I'm spending half as much time shaving as I would be with a straight razor to get similar results. One awesome thing about this razor is it shaves the knees super well. That's where I'd cut myself the most with a straight razor. I don't recommend for under arms. I got razor burn there. Also don't recommend for the bikini area. Also got razor burn. ****ONLY CHARGED ONCE IN 4 WEEKS

Read the reviews before I purchased- there were complaints about lack of trimmer. I have a seperate trimmer, so was not concerned. Shaver gives a decent shave and is very quiet. I use on occasion primarily for touch up, usually use a blade. For those of us old enough to have more hair growing on our ears than head, this shaver works better than my trimmer. Can't really offer an opinion on daily use, but for my purpose I am very pleased with it. Especially the price. And, the order on line pick up in store was a snap! In and out in less than a minute.

Over all its great, however without a trimmer that others have is a big point against it! Otherwise all else is good....close shave and so far good battery life!

This is my second Norelco razor and I couldn't live without it. My first unit was the wet type Norelco razor that I could rinse under water. It died, after four years and I purchased this new one instead. It's the dry razor that can't get wet but the price was lower so I went for it. Does a great job of shaving close, easy clean-up, and saves a fortune on buying traditional razors. No irritation to my skin and a single charge lasts about 8 hours. Get the warranty plan, it's worth it for $7.00! I dropped my first Norelco and ruined it. Took it to Best Buy and they gave me a new one on the spot since I had the service plan-you will drop it!

This razor was given as gift to my 21 year old son. It is his first electric razor. He has been using it for nearly 2 weeks now. He said he likes it and would rate it a 4 of 5 stars. Quicker and less mess than shaving with a blade. Although he would enjoy more "bells and whistles", this razor does what he needs it to do on a daily basis. I liked the price.

I feel like electric razors are only to get me out of a bind, when I need to be shaved, but don't have time to shower and shave with a blade. For that purpose, it works for me, but if this were my main shaving tool, I would be pretty miserable. The best thing about this is that it was so cheap that I don't care too much how good it is. It's better than not shaving!

Being someone who travels quite a bit, I decided that I didn't want to leave spent blades/disposable razors behind everywhere I went in the world. Just didn't seem responsible to me, so I bought this razor based on price point vs reputation of the product name. Norelco did not disappoint me. While an electric will never get as close as a blade, it's no hardship to shave twice a day with this rechargeable unit in order to keep looking sharp. While it does not have a sideburn trimmer, this product gets the job done for me.

I bought this the day before my vacation and need a new shavr head for my current razor, and this WHOLE unit was cheaper then the new head. So i got and left for vacation. I didnt notice UINTILL i was out of state the the new razor does NOT have a pop up trimmer. OOOPS! My bad for not looking closer, so i miss the trimmer, but its a good razor!
