For the past few years, I’ve been trying to find the ideal electric shaver. I really want something rechargeable and that gives me a smooth shave without leaving any skin irritations. This has been a difficult combination to find because my skin is quite sensitive. I’ve had good luck with the Philips Norelco line of products, so I thought I would give their Shaver 3600 a try. To start, the shaver is simple in operation. Out of the box, the device has some charge to it and I was able to get 2-3 solid shaves out of this initial charge. It is suggested that you charge the shaver before its first use, but I was able to get a few shaves out of it before needing to charge it. The shaver does not come with a charging stand. This would probably be my only complaint about this device. It does have a charging cable, but I would like to be able to set it in a stand without having a cable hanging out on my bathroom counter. As far as performance goes, I’ve been very happy with the Shaver 3600. It performs just as well, if not better than, some other electric shavers I’ve tried that are much higher priced. It provides a close shave without any razor burn and the pop-out trimmer does a remarkable job with thicker hair like my sideburns. The shaver is easy to clean and very lightweight. It travels well and comes with a protective guard and stubble guard. For a very minimal, reasonable price (around $65) you can have a complete shaving system. I’ve not used it in the shower, but do usually wash my face before shaving so I did get to take advantage of the using it in wet and dry environments. For the most part I did just use it as a dry shaver and didn’t have many issues with my skin getting irritated. The Shaver 3600 provides a close shave and is very affordable. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an electric shaver.

I’m impressed - It’s been a while since I tried a 3 blade circular razor (normally I use a 2 long blade electric), but this works great. This is a wet/dry shaver, but I’m used to shaving dry so that’s all I’ve tried so far. It is very gentle, but still gives a nice close shave. It’s super easy to clean – just hit the button to pop the flip open lid and rinse it in the sink. Fully charges in 1 hour and lasts for almost an hour of shave time. There’s even a quick 5 min charge for a 5 min shave if the battery dies. Which is good because you can’t shave with it plugged in (probably by design since it can also be used a wet shaver.) Side burn trimmer works well and overall it’s very light weight and easy to maneuver. There’s also a blade cover for storage or travel and also comes with a “5 o’clock shadow” attachment for a permanent fine stubble look. Definitely recommended.

The Philips Norelco Electric Shaver 3600 is a convenient smooth shave in or out of the shower. A full charge will last multiple shaves over several days and with just 5 minutes of being plugged in you have enough charge to get another shave if you had let it die. The three multi-direction comfort cut heads contour to every shape of your face for a smooth shave. There is an included stubble guard that creates a 3 day stubble look, however, you loose that directional contour and it takes longer to get an even shave. There is also a pop out edge trimmer to get those sharp edges. With it being waterproof it is easy to pop the top open and rinse out. The key to electric razors like this is continued use. If you are just switching from a blade razor to an electric razor, it may not feel as close. However, after a few days of your skin healing the shave will feel smoother. Also, if not used on a regular basis the hair can become too long to shave. This is not a fault of this razor, just something of all razors of this style.
