Assuming you use a compatible Norelco model, this stuff is great. It does a great job cleaning, but I don't feel there is a great deal of lubrication. Lasts much longer than I thought it would as a bonus.

I like my Philips Norelco shavers. I have had two, with the previous one lasting me 10+ years. A simple battery pack replacement upgrade and it was golden - never once had a problem with the blades. However, I was interested in upgrading and I picked one of their high end shavers. I has the self-cleaning feature and I was able to use it once before the base unit was knocked over by a relative and all the cleaning fluid came out. Went to Best Buy and purchased a 2-pack and they work awesome right out of the box. Plug-and-play just like they should be. I love the clean smell too. I highly recommend if your shaver uses this type of cleaning cartridge.
