This recorder was purchased to replace an aging (10 years old) digital recorder in a church environment. I was a bit dismayed at how light it is and how "economical" it looked compared to the one it was replacing, but after three weeks of use recording sermons , I am blown away by the quality of the recordings using a line-in feed, (not the built-in mics), the built-in storage and the ease of operation. Let's see if it lasts 10 years like the one ii replaced. For the price paid, it is a good value.

I was using cheap apps in iPhone and frustrated with all the noises it capture. When I decided to buy this, I never thought I will keep it! It's one of the best gadgets that I have! It's silent recording, noise cancelling and recording based on voice activation are the best features. It picks feeble audio and my journalism student son loves the product!
