Good product
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Overall a good product, especially during pandemic times. My daughter works In healthcare and the box comes in handy to clean her phone and ID when she comes home. She ran a little experiment to make sure the product works using bread as the samples. The bread that spent 10min in the box didn't grow any microbes while the sample was covered in them.

Great little device
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.The units works as expected. Have used it a few times and it's convenient and good Peace of mind. Of course there is no way to tell how effective it is but it is well built so hopefully it lasts for years to come. It's a plastic frame so it's susceptible to fall damage. A nice feature is the built in USB port in the back so you can charge your phone while it's being sanitized. The UV lights do warm up your phone though so don't expect a fast charge.

COVID 19 Must Have

Inaccurate Description- it does NOT have USB port

I’ve ordered online and picked up in store, only to find that this product does NOT have the USB charging port as it advised (see picture). While I understand sanitization is its main function, it’s indeed disappointing to receive a product that does not have all functions that were expected. If the product description had been accurate this product would have been 5 stars.

Good item to have
||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.I recently heard about the phone soap brand from my daughter who has been using one of these for over a year now. I thought it would be good to have during this pandemic so looked online and found this one at Best Buy. It's the basic model but good enough for what I need. Very easy to use. I sanitize my iPhone XR and Apple watch as well as keys and credit cards in it.

Great product and easy to use

Easy to setup just drop the phone in the sanitizer box, close lid, and wait for the light on top of cover to go off. During this time it's great to know there is a quick and easy way to ensure my device is sanitized after being out in the public like a grocery store, etc. The charging port is a very welcome edition and allows device to charge while sanitizing.

||Posted .It works good It only takes 10 min to clean my iPhone and then it turns off It also has a USB port so I can charge my iPhone I like it because it cleans the front and the back of my iPhone It’s lightweight and portable

- A:Answer I didn't measure to be sure, but it fits my iPhone XR with an Otterbox symmetry case and a popsocket on it. There's about an inch extra width and height. My boyfriend's iPhone 11 Pro with Otterbox case also fits.

- A:Answer Takes about 10 mins, phonesoap says you can put anything in it that fits with the lid closed so far I’ve only put keys, credit cards besides phones.

- A:Answer I unplugged it. If you leave it plugged in and close the lid, sanitizing process begins and light on outer lid comes on. It does turn off automatically after about ten minutes.

Q: QuestionHow long/how many uses is the UV light effective? Can the bulbs be replaced? I've had to replace UV light bulbs in other products and was told they're typically effective for 1-2 years.

- A:Answer The specs say the bulbs are good for 4000 hours. If you follow the directions and sanitize the device after sanitizing items, it's good for 12,000 sanitizing cycles.

- A:Answer There is no USB port on the Basic model (The description on the Best Buy website was not accurate. I’ve bought one so I know). Phonesoap 3 has both USB-A and USB-C ports so that you can charge your phone and sanitize at the same time.
