Q: What are the inner dimensions of the Phonesoap Basic? (2 answers)
A: I didn't measure to be sure, but it fits my iPhone XR with an Otterbox symmetry case and a popsocket on it. There's about an inch extra width and height. My boyfriend's iPhone 11 Pro with Otterbox case also fits.- A: bulbs are in this UV sanitizer 2
- A: Takes about 10 mins, phonesoap says you can put anything in it that fits with the lid closed so far I’ve only put keys, credit cards besides phones.
Q: What is the difference between PhoneSoap Basic and PhoneSoap 3.0? (2 answers)
A: There is no USB port on the Basic model (The description on the Best Buy website was not accurate. I’ve bought one so I know). Phonesoap 3 has both USB-A and USB-C ports so that you can charge your phone and sanitize at the same time.Q: When done sanitizing do you unplug it? Leave it plugged in and close it? It doesn`t say. (4 answers)
A: I unplugged it. If you leave it plugged in and close the lid, sanitizing process begins and light on outer lid comes on. It does turn off automatically after about ten minutes.- A: The specs say the bulbs are good for 4000 hours. If you follow the directions and sanitize the device after sanitizing items, it's good for 12,000 sanitizing cycles.
Q: Will this fit an iPhone 11 Pro Max? (2 answers)
A: It should. The interior dimensions are 3.625"wide, 6.75" long and 0.50"deep. The iphone 11 pro max is listed as 6.22 x3.06x0.32 inches. Those measurements i took are actually a little short of the true dimensions, but you'll will need a little maneuvering area to place and pickup the phone from the plastic film surface inside that must remain in place for the phonesoap to work. It is a nice little device. I leave it unplugged until I need it, usually after I come home after being out all day. Takes only 10 minutes. You place the phone inside, in standby mode, close the lid, plug it in, and a soft green lightening bolt glows from the top lid for 10 minutes and you're done. I have no proof that it works, but it gives a piece of mind, hoping that it does.
