Good Stuff
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 2nd release from a minor super-group (Barry Goldberg, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Stephen Stills) fires on all cylinders. Though short, each track packs a decent punch, and the covers are very interesting. The pairing is working great and I can not only recommend this, but am looking forward to their third one!

Stills and Co. score again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Stephen Stills you know from Buffalo Springfield and CSNY. Now he teams up with blues legends Kenny Wayne Shepard and Barry Goldberg to form The Rides. Their first album was quite good, I thought, but tentative at times. With Pierced Arrow, the band really comes together and the album is terrific from start to finish.

As good as their first album
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Half of the songs are sung by Kenny Wayne shepherd, half by Stephen Stills. Bluesy slow moving rock and a couple of rock-n-roll (50's style) songs. Great band, great sound. If you liked the first album, you will like this one.
