Excellent fit in my 1999 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT. Definitely get a Wire Harness Adapter. I soldered my adapter to the radio's power connecter and covered the joints with heat shrink tubing before taking my old radio out. This made the install very quick. Radio stations come in clear when HD and about the same as before when HD isn't available. USB thumb drive works perfectly (when proper setting for USB is selected). BlueTooth and USB to Android recognize my Galaxy S5 flawlessly as well. Aux input for audio also has no issues. One suggestion - no-where did I see any mention of where the clip for the microphone is meant to go, but they include a double sided piece of tape to mount it. On a whim I clipped it to the rearview mirror mount - and it's an absolute PERFECT fit. Run the wire along the top of the windshield to a pillar and down along the dash and back to the radio. It would have been nice if Pioneer included cable mounts/clips to secure the mic wire to the vehicle, I used small (clear) 3M clips. If the display is dim, check if your headlights are on. I leave mine on all the time, but the radio lets you set when the radio dims the display by time, headlight status or manually. Dimming by headlight status is default. I'm no longer distracted by finding my mp3 player to skip songs or forget to turn on/off my speakerphone. The radio handles it all, pausing music when a call connects. The mic picks up my voice perfectly with it above the rearview mirror. Being able to expand to Sirus/XM Radio is one reason I chose this model (along with the HD FM). DVD movies are clear, but won't play while moving (as designed to prevent driver distrations). If my radio was located higher on the dash, the option to install GPS would make this an even greater value (there IS an app for phones connected via USB for a basic GPS Nav). Alas, I'll stick with my Garmin for that. I burned up my Droid 4 (battery overheated) using it as a GPS a couple years back. Lesson learned, use a GPS device or expand this radio for a built-in GPS on a large display.

This is great for the price. Easy to use. I had it installed by best buy. Easy to learn. It has blue tooth with a mic. I can bluetooth streatm music. It has auxiliary cord and a usb connector. It has great signal strength for the radio. controller works great woth great range. And dvd players works fine. Good product overall

I purchased this unit because of the good reviews - great price - and multiple options. I added a back up camera as well. All are working great.
