solid sounds
This is my 2nd pioneer Elite receiver. I had SC-79; however I updated to sc-89 for the Dolby Atmos; I would say, if you are not too much for Dolby atmos stick to sc-79 if you have one; I am very disappointed at Pioneer for not adding the THX certification to SC-89; Solid separation and GREAT sound present when you watching movies.

Pretty good.
Overall I like this. It was an old model so I got it for a song basically. So far it's working pretty well, but it can take 10 or so seconds to change the channel which can be a bit frustrating. Also had an issue in the beginning where it would randomly change inputs. It does have an app for my phone that can be convienent. I can turn down the volume from another room or shut it off when my kids have it up too loud.
