I bought this speaker to replace a Kicker 12 and while it sounded better it did not last more than 6 months I had it connected to a JL amp putting 500 watts rms.

I have this sub in my 2010 Honda fit. powerd by a kicker 300 watt amp. sounds great I have the subwoofer setting on my head unit set @ -6 and its still really loud. love it
