Good quality for moderate price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recommended by associate at Best Buy as budget, or moderatlely priced amplifier. Must say sound quality for the price makes this Pioneer amplifier a great choice. Well pleased with performance and would recommend to others looking for amplifier for stereo only system to listen to vinyl, or cd's.

Pioneer Elite A-20
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a modern amp to give a Scott vintage unit a rest. I have this amp hooked up to a pair of Zenith Circle of Sound speakers circa 1969 ... yes 1969. These speakers sound better than when new with this amp.

Great sound, very clean
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace a a vintage receiver. This was the only one I could find in this price range that matched the specs of my old receiver in a price range that was reasonable. Had it delivered. Hooked it up and wow, it sounds wonderful. Lots of punch. If you can get one you'll enjoy it.

Awesome sounding amplifier.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Pioneer A-20 intagrated amplifier from Best Buy online. and I am glad I did. The sound and clarity of this amp is incredible. I love the "Loudness" mode. Is really boosts the lows at lower volumes which most of the time is how we play it. I received it in about 3 days, and in excellent condition. Packaged very well.

Very clean
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very clean 2 channel amp. It sounded great attached to a pair of bookshelf speakers. However it wasn’t quite powerful enough to power my floor speakers adequately.

Solid & Clean Power
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This unit produces very clean power. I have it driving a set of very high-end in-ceiling speakers. The sound is amazing. The power is more than enough to drive the speakers at very high volumes with crystal clear sound.

Q: QuestionI already have a pioneer receiver which i have my dvd, cd,cable connected too, how much of a difference will this make adding it to my system ?
Asked by TJ.
- A:Answer It depends on your setup and configuration. If your current receiver doesn’t have enough power for your speakers, or in theater setup no power at all for of the channels (eg., using pre out for surround back), then adding this unit could make a big difference. Alternatively, this unit could be added to power a second pair of speakers in addition to your main speakers connected to your receiver. No matter what configuration you use, this unit has solid and clean sound, but it doesn’t add power to your receiver, it replaces it for one set of speakers.

Q: Questioncan i use a subwoofer with this amp and how can I hook it up?
Asked by jackp.
- A:Answer There are no sub outputs on this amplifier. Thus, there is no easy way to connect a powered sub. You could try the Record outputs, but these outputs are pre volume control, so there would be no volume control of the sound/output to the sub. If you sub had its own volume control, you could manually adjust, but it would not be connected to the volume of the amp. This would be a possible workaround to not having a sub output.

Q: QuestionCan you use this with the pioneer sc-95 9.2 system to make it 11.2? I know the sc-95 is capable of 11.2 with an amp. This would give 100 watts to my front left and 100 watts to my front right channels?
Asked by gregboy.
- A:Answer You could absolutely use this to drive one of the sets of speakers on the SC-95. There are numerous sets of inputs. While the power rating on this unit is lower than that of the 95, it would still produce great power for any of the speaker pairs available with a pre-amp output.

Q: QuestionOverview says it has pre-amp outputs, but that seems to be incorrect - what's the story?
Asked by JOHN.
- A:Answer it has Aux left and right, and Control in and out along with the usual left and right inputs. Nothing labeled Pre-amp.

Q: QuestionI have a pioneer elite vsx70 with b&w cm10 s2, that I recently acquired Yes I know, but for the time being, will this provide more power until I replace the receiver with what I want
Asked by Matador42.
- A:Answer It absolutely will give you more juice...i use it primarily to power my sub woofer and it does the job perfectly. Im in the same situation as you with my receiver which is also a lower end pioneer elite

Q: QuestionDo I need a seperate pre amp for a turntable to conmnect to this amplifier? The turntable is a Technics 1200=MK2
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The amplifier has provisions for several inputs. One of them is PHONO. That input should do it for you, and no preamp is required. Pay attention to the grounding instructions that come with the amp.
