Great sound: Clarity & Bass
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really have no complaints about these headphones. Except for when I’m using the Bluetooth, the headphones occasionally pop during movies or music. Not sure if it’s me or not. Also, the lining of one ear has come undone. That’s unfortunate. I think it was from doing housework with these on.

Open Mic Lost Functionality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I LOVED the previous model, especially its ability to play music AND amplify the world around me. This pair can't do that. It's one or the other. It also doesnt do as good a job at noise cancellation. Sound quality and battery life still push these to 4/5, though.

Great, for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are feature packed for the price point, however, don't expect high-end performance in those features. The noise cancellation completely cancels out low hums from airplanes and trains, which is a plus, but you will be able to hear the people around you at coffee shops just the way you would, or maybe a little lesser than, noise isolation technology. The battery life is stellar, and there is no comment on that. Look and feel is great, they're a little bulky and heavy so they are desk (or travel) headphones. I wouldn't wear them for a walk at the park.

Awesome Headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have only had these headphones for a couple weeks, but so far I am very impressed with them. I have tried other noise cancelling headphones in the past and have been disappointed. However after reading some reviews of these I decided to give them a try. I mainly use them while riding the bus to/from work and it does a really good job of cancelling out background noise. I can now listed to music and watch shows on my phone at a very low level, which I prefer as to not damage my hearing. I've tried the open mic feature as a passenger in the vehicle and around the house and it works quite well also. This is my second pair of plantronics headphones, my other pair is an in ear sport design and I am once again impressed with the quality and cost of their products. I've also made a couple phone calls and haven't had any issues on either end.

Solid , does the job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not so sure there couldn’t be better noise canceling however not sure I’d wanna be totally deaf to surroundings. Very good Bluetooth pickup capability as well as call quality. I am happy w the purchase

Amazing headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you can get these below $200 (and please remember that Best Buy price matches), they are a better investment than $350 Bose, and flat out sound better than anything Beats puts out no matter the price. I've always used Sennheisers, and these sound better than all but the extremely expensive "pro" version of those. They do take a little getting used to from a comfort standpoint, as the openings aren't huge, but the sound is great.

Nice headphones!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a shame that Best Buy stopped selling these. The sound and options available on these headphones were well worth the price. I was fortunate enough to have purchased the warranty ( after just shy of a year they stopped charging properly).

Q: QuestionAre these as good as more expensive modelso?
Asked by Miff.
- A:Answer Depends on your needs. For sound quality, they are the equivalent of anything from Bose, Beats, or Sony. For comfort, they are almost at the level of the Bose. For noise cancellation, it's probably not as good as the better Sonys and Bose products. But everyone has different tastes. you'll have to try them out.

Q: QuestionAre these not in stock in any store? Was hoping to pick up in Grand Junction, CO or Park City, UT THIS WEEKEND?
Asked by Chgolf64.
- A:Answer Ordered these thru the Best Buy web site. Received them in three days. Had them now 6 weeks and find them fantastic in sound, comfort, battery life and in roaming around distance. Quality construction and controls. You'll not be disappointed with this choice.

Q: QuestionI'm looking for a good set of wireless head phones for my husband to use to watch TV while working out. How's the sound range from one room to another? Are there certain TV's, which they work on?
Asked by Debra.
- A:Answer Our BackBeat PRO 2 features a class 1 Bluetooth radio that can provide you with up to 300 feet with a clear line of sight when connected to a class 1 Bluetooth transmitter, the range is up to 33 feet when using it with a standard class 2 Bluetooth radio like cellphones, tablets and most Bluetooth compatible TVs. While our BackBeat series headphones are universally compatible with devices that support Bluetooth headsets this will depend on your TV and we recommend that you contact your TV manufacturer to confirm Bluetooth headset/headphones support. Please don't hesitate to contact us at www.plantronics.com/support if you have other questions!

Q: QuestionWhat is the length for the 3.5mm cord? Can I replace the original one with a longer chord?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The included 3.5mm audio cord is 1.5 meters long (59 inches) and it uses a standard connector. You can replace the cable with another one if needed as long as it uses the standard 3.5mm plug. Q: QuestionCan these be used with my Plantroic CS540 phone device? I need something wireless that covers both ears.
Asked by sso.
- A:Answer Hello sso, our these two devices are not compatible with one another since our BackBeat series products work on Bluetooth technology while our CS500 series work on wireless DECT technology. If you are looking for a similar system to our CS540 that covers both ears you might want to consider our CS520 headset system.
