Really like this neutral density filter
|Posted .Pros mentioned:Ease of use, ExposureThis is a all around great filter to have in your bag of goodies. What I really like about this filter is the fact that you have multiple filters all rolled into one. This filter gives you between 1 and 8.6 f-stops which covers most anything that I shoot. This works well for those long exposures with flowing water, makes for some really nice effects. Also, the aluminum frame makes for a hassle free operation and the dial on the side is easy to read.

Handy kit for the price
|Posted .Pros mentioned:PriceVery handy with both 52 & 58mm adapters included. Not quite dark enough to safely use for the eclipse, but with the help of some cloud cover at near totality managed to grab a few shots without harming my camera.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Absolutely love this filter. To have the option to change the density of it without having to change setting on camera is what has me in awe. It is so easy to adjust, with it I don't spend so much time with the settings of the camera and just set it once and begin.

Better than Expected
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI have a Nikon D3200. I am not a professional photographer at all, but I do like to have relatively good gear to give the illusion that I know what I'm doing ;). I did a lot of research on Variable ND filters before buying this and understood its strengths and limitations. For $50, I think this is a steal. I didn't notice the dreaded "black-x" that appears from the nd filter around its max setting, but I was rarely using it at max. I wasn't expecting much for a $50 fader, but it definitely surprised me. It does exactly what its supposed to do. My friend who graduated with a videography degree, and played around with it said it does a pretty good job compared to the gear she uses, which is obviously more professional than my stuff. This is a great addition to your gear if you are not a serious photographer, or are wanting to learn how to shoot with filters.
Q: QuestionIs this lens for solar eclipe photography ,compatible with nikon p900 and full apiture ?
Asked by LisaM.
- A:Answer The brand of lens doesn't matter as long as the mm match. That said this ND filter is not strong enough to use for the solar eclipse. Using it could damage your sensor. You need something that will stop at least 16 full stops of light.

Q: Questionwill this fit on a Sony a6400
Asked by ryhieb23.
- A:Answer Depends on the lens. This is designed to fit on lenses with a specific diameter... you probably have a few lenses for your a6400, each with a different measurement. As long as your lens diameter matches the compatible ones it will work. Hope that helps!

Q: QuestionIf I was to use 3 of these filters, would that be enough to safely capture the eclipse? Nikon D810 with 70-200 2.8
Asked by DatGuy.
- A:Answer I don't know if that would work but the risk of camera damage, let alone eye damage, is not worth it. You can call the camera sales people at Best Buy, or call the local news media and ask how they are filming the eclipse for broadcast. They would be doing it safely. C

Q: QuestionWill these be enough protection for my dslr if I double up? Does that even work?
Asked by CliffTon.
- A:Answer I only needed one, works great for moving in and out of two/more different locations. but yes I do believe you can double up and added another nd or other filter to it.

Q: QuestionCan this filter be used on the Sony FDR-AX33 camcorder?
Asked by JaguarChief117.
- A:Answer Check the thread size on your camcorder, if it matches the filter or one the adapters it should work just fine.
